Why must we be fated to this?
The conflict,
The anger,
The war.
Why must we be fated to this?
The strife,
The scream,
The terror.
Why must we be fated to this?
The need to find a solution,
The need to keep ourselves busy,
The need to be the hero.
Why must we be fated to this?
The change,
The sadness,
The blue.
Why must we be fated to this?
The need to go on,
The power of love,
The wish to climb up that mountain.
Why must we be fated to this?
The need for closure,
The need for the means,
The need for anything.
Why must we be fated, to our ends of our own Schicksal?
