I throw my dirty clothes in the washer and continue unpacking our bags while Josh is downstairs talking to his parents. As I'm finishing unpacking Josh's bag, my phone rings. I pick it up and answer it, holding the phone in one hand, and Josh's shirt in the other. "Hey, Liam. What's up?" I ask, carrying the shirt to the washer and throwing it in. He tells me him and Kassidy are engaged and I scream. "Josh get up here!" I hear Josh's footsteps on the stairs almost immediately. "What? What is it?" He looks confused. I explain it to him and before I know it were both screaming things into the phone at Liam. When we finally calm down Liam says "One at a time, please, guys." He  laughs, and so does josh and I. "Okay. You can tell us the details later. Why'd you call?" I ask trying to go back to being serious. "Well, before you started screaming I was going to tell you that kassidy and I are going out to dinner tonight to celebrate and we want you to come." I look over to Josh. "He wants us to go out to dinner with them to celebrate." I tell him. "When?" He asks. "Tonight. How long are you parents staying?" I continue holding the phone away while I wait for his response. "I think their flight leaves tonight sometime. But I'll go check." He runs downstairs and I hold the phone back up to my ear. "I think we can go. Josh is checking to see how long his parents are staying now." I say. "Okay.... How was your trip?" I click my tongue and bite down on my lip. "It was good." I laugh quietly to myself. "Did anything interesting happen?" Josh walks in saving me from having to answer. "They can watch her." I repeat what Josh says into the phone. "Great. I guess we'll talk then. I'll text you where we're going and what time." I nod. "Okay. Bye." We both hang up and I turn to Josh. "He's going to text me when he figures out where we're going. I'm guessing it'll be fancy." I say, before throwing my phone down on the bed and putting the empty suitcases in the closet.

I run my fingers through my curled hair and pull it up into a pony tail, leaving my bangs out. Then I open my makeup bag and begin working on my eyes. I finish my smoky eyes with a thick line of eyeliner and a coat of mascara. My blue eyes stare back at me as I apply a thin layer of blush on my cheeks and some lipgloss on my lips.

I let Josh into the bathroom so he can get ready and I change into my dress. The loose grey material is soft against my skin, just like a blanket. I had to adjust the belt above my waist since it's too uncomfortable around my waist, but overall it looks pretty good. I slip on a pair of flats just as Josh is walking out of the bathroom. He stops when he sees me and smiles. "You ready to go?" He asks. "Yeah..let me just grab my purse." I look around for it until I find it on top of the dresser. "Ready." I walk with him downstairs.

Josh parks the car in the front row and we get out and walk to the door. He holds the door open for me and allows me to walk in in front of him. I find Liam and Kassidy sitting at a booth near the back corner as they informed us they would be and we walk towards them. As we approach the table I notice they're outfits. They look way better than us. Liam's wearing a a black suit with a grey silk tie and kassidy's wearing a black lacy dress that's see through over her stomach. We greet and hug them. Then take our seats directly across from them. It takes me a while to get into the seat because I'm so pregnant, but once I do I set my elbows on the table, leaning in towards Liam slightly. He reaches over and pokes my arm, making me jump back. "How's the baby doing?" He asks. "He's good." I smile, wrapping an arm around my waist. "He?" He raises his eyebrows at me, questioningly. "Yeah. Uh, it's a boy." Our conversation seems to have attracted kassidy's attention, because she turns towards us and away from Josh. "Have you thought about names yet?" Josh and I turn to each other for a second, then back to them. "Cole." We both say together, making them laugh.

I twirl my straw around in my glass, watching as Josh picks at a breadstick. My eyes drift over to Liam and Kassidy, he's had his arm wrapped around her waist this entire time, eating only with one hand. Whereas Josh and I have been to busy eating to really pay much attention to each other. I feel as if we've been slacking on the PDA big time, to an outsider we don't look like we're in love at all, not the way Liam and Kassidy do. To fix that, I lay my head on Josh's shoulder, glancing up at him through my eyelashes, while we wait for our dessert. He responds to my touch by wrapping an arm around my waist, pulling our bodies closer. The waiter finally comes by with our dessert and sets it down in front of us. Josh and I got one to share and so did Liam and Kassidy. My mouth starts watering instantly at the smell of chocolate. It's a slice of triple chocolate cheesecake, covered in chocolate chips, with chocolate drizzled all over it. Josh and I quickly pull away from each other to grab a fork, and start eating each of us on a separate end.

While Josh and I have been racing each other, both of us trying to get the last bite, Liam and Kassidy have been taking turns feeding each other and even dabbing some on each other's faces. I don't know why this feels like such a competition to me, but it does, and we're losing. I turn to Josh and put the last bite on my fork, and hold it up to him. "Here. You can have it." Even though I won, I no longer care. I'm too full to eat it anyways. He eats it without question, then leans in to kiss me. He kisses me until we're both out of breath, which doesn't take long, and holds my face still inches from his, both of us laughing. Take that Liam, I think. We won.

A/N: This chapter was really fun to write. I'm getting so close to catching up to the present! I've been writing about past events this entire time and I'm finally so close to getting to where we actually are now.
