Chapter 3

Chapter 3:
(Jennifer)

I sit down across from Liam at a table in the very back of the restaurant and immediately bombard him with questions. "What's her name? Is she pregnant? Did you guys hook up? Did you tell you're big brother Thor? What does he think of her? Are you guys gonna go public soon?" I ask shaking from excitement. "Jennifer calm down it's not like I've never had a girlfriend before." He says rolling his eyes at me. "Her name is kassidy. She's not pregnant anymore. No we did not hook up. No I did not tell Chris and No were not going public anytime soon. Does that answer all your questions?" He asks looking around to make sure no one heard us. "One more. Why was she looking at baby stuff if she isn't pregnant?" I ask opening my menu. "Because she had a miscarriage. She was only there to return the stuff she bought." He says sounding sad. "Oh wow I'm sorry." I say. I couldn't imagine that happening to me. "Did you two decide what you would like to order?" The girl asks smirking at us, she must know who we are. "Yeah I'll take the chicken risotto and dr. Pepper to drink." I say handing her the menu. "I'll have the same as her." He says handing her his menu too. "Copier." I mutter, pulling out my phone to text Josh.
JENNIFER: hey Hun are you having a good day?
JOSH: yeah the cast is really friendly.
JENNIFER: good, I'm glad you're making friends.
JOSH: and I'm glappy I'm making friends
JENNIFER: I gtg Liam and I are eating lunch I'll see you soon

I take a drink of my dr. Pepper and wait for Liam to finish his lunch. "Why do you eat so slow?" I ask taking his drink and drinking the rest of it. "Why do you eat so fast? And why did you drink my drink?" He asks pulling some money out of his pocket and setting it on the table for the waitress. "Because I was hungry and I'm pregnant so I can take your drink if I want." I say following him out to the car. "Josh is filming nearby do you wanna go see him?" He asks starting the car. I climb in the passenger seat and buckle my seatbelt. "Yeah let's go. He gets off in like 20 minutes anyway." I say.

I see Josh a few feet away standing with a black haired girl. He has his arm on her shoulder and they look like they're laughing about something. I walk closer and the girl sees me, she continues her conversation, she doesn't know who I am. "Yeah so I'll see you tomorrow josh." She says. The way she says Josh makes me wanna get sick. "Okay you like coffee right?" He asks. "Yeah with vanilla in it." She says walking away. He turns around and looks surprised to see me. "Jennifer hey I didn't know you'd be here." He says jogging towards me and hugging me. I accept his hug and wrap my arms around him. "Yeah I wanted to surprise you." I say smiling. "So surprise." I say kissing him. "Did you drive here yourself?" He asks looking worried. "No Liam drove me." I say as his hands move down to my hips. "Good did you two have fun?" He asks sliding his thumbs over my stomach. "Of course we had lunch what's more fun than that?" I ask laughing. "So who was that girl?" I ask unable to get it out of my mind. "She's playing the other main character." He says walking with me to Liam's car. "Oh okay." I say. For some reason I can't get over how she was looking at him.

I finish unpacking all the boxes in the living room as Josh puts all the stuff away. Our house is finally starting to look like a home. "Do you wanna go out to see the fireworks tonight? They have a lot of them by the beach." He asks cramming the empty boxes into the trash can. "Yeah I'd love to I'll go get dressed right now." I say hoping off the couch and running up the stairs. "Don't fall on the stairs!" Josh yells making me laugh. "I won't." I yell back walking into the bathroom. I change into a pair of shorts and a red tank top. I put on some eye liner and mascara and run back down the stairs. "You look hot." Josh says smirking at me. "Thanks. You look hot too." I say rolling my eyes at him. We walk outside together. The beach is only a few blocks away. There are tons of people here. The sky starts to get dark and the first firework goes off making me jump at the loud noise. Josh wraps his arm around my waist and I smile at him. "They're so beautiful." I say looking up at the red, yellow and blue colors in the sky. "Yeah kinda like you." Josh says stepping up to kiss me. We kiss for a while and fireworks go off. Literally fireworks go off as we kiss. I don't know how I could've got so lucky to have someone like Josh. He is the most amazing man in the entire world. "I love you joshy." I say leaving my arm around his neck, keeping our bodies close. "I love you too jen and you." He says kneeling down to kiss my stomach. Everyone is staring at us now. Totally oblivious to the fireworks. But I don't mind people staring as long as I'm with Josh nothing else matters.
