6 months later;
After a long and tiresome day at uniSalecia flopped onto her bed and gazed into space as she pondered life. She didn't feel like going back to work later. She still had to finish studying for her last paper she had to give in for uni. She couldn't wait for this year to be over. Her and Christopher had hung out whenever she had spare time and she always left feeling on top of the world. Something about Christpher always left her smiling and at peace. Though on few instance during the fall, her and Christopher had almost become 'physical' but they always stopped their heated kisses from becoming anything more.
"Hey, are you alright?" Celine asked with concern in her voice.
"Yeah, I just really don't feel like going to work today." Salecia said as she smapped out of her daze.
"Then just chuck a sickie. You have had perfect attendance since the beginning of year, I think you deserve a day off."
"But Lydia will say that it's the last week of my intership and that-"
"Screw what Lydia thinks. She has been 'sick' for half the year and hasn't her own bullshit advice!" Celine said defensively.
Salecia wanted to defend Lydia, but none of what Celine was saying was a lie.
"Yeah, I guess so." Salecia said defeated. "I might go and see if Ashanti wants to hang out."
"I was going to go meet her at the cinema in a few minutes actually." Celine said in a matter of factly way.
"Oh cool, what are you guys watching?" Salecia asked with as much interest as she could manage.
"I forgot the name but it's some gorey anime. I'm sure you'd love it." Celine teased.
"Very funny Cee." Salecia said as she grinned slightly. Celine couldn't help but laugh at her own joke.
"You can see if your neighbour wants to hang out." Celine said with fake innocence putting a lot of emphasis on the word neighbour.
"Chris? I don't know if he's home." Salecia lamely excused.
"Dude, just walk across the street he doesn't live in Egypt." Celine laughed as she mocked Salecia's laziness.
"Yeah, I guess you're right. It wouldn't hurt to check." Salecia said as she bit her lip.
"Great. Then I guess I'll see you at 6 tonight." Celine said as she grabbed her grey backpack.
"Bye Sal." Celine yelled from the corridor.
"Bye Cee." Salecia said quietly.
Not even a minute after Celine left Salecia received a text message.
