What to wear? Salecia thought to herself. Jeans and a cute shirt? too casual. Floral dress and denim jacket? No. Salecia didn't know why, but she had suddenly gotten paranoid over what she was going to wear. Usually she just wore whatever she wanted to wear and wore it with her signature look, confidence. She finally decided on a high waisted floral print skater skirt, a white bandage crop top and a beige oversized cardigan that stopped at the bow of her knees. She paired the outfit with her orangey, yellow Timberlands with with white socks peeking. She left her hair out and applied and little bit of lip gloss sitting on her dresser. She looked at herself in the mirror and was happy with what she was seeing. So she grabbed her trusty brown satchel and slipped something in it before grabbing it off her bed and headed to the living room.
When she got to the living room, she found Ashanti laid on the armchair with her long legs slung over the side. Ashanti dressed in jeans that were ripped at the knees and a navy blue Raplh Lauren sweater with Chaps written on it with the American flag that Salecia thought looked oddly familiar. She also wore red and white Adidas high tops. She was obviously texting on her phone and Salecia got who in one guess.
"Texting Logan aye." Salecia laughed.
"Yeah." Ashanti said with a bashful smile
"I swear you guys are like lovesick puppies, you can't even stand to be away from each other for even a day," Salecia mocked.
"That's what it's like when you're in love." Ashanti chirped.
Ashanti sighed and slung, her head back with her hand on her forehead dramatically.
"Isn't that Logan's shirt?" Salecia asked suddenly realizing why it was so familiar.
"Uh, no I-I don't think so." Ashanti said, pulling her head up nervously.
"Oh my God, it is. He wore it a couple days ago on Thursday when he came over and I went to bed early while Celine was still in Thailand with her boyfriend Brendon." Salecia exclaimed smiling with her hands folded across her chest.
Since Ashanti was not that dark you could tell when she was blushing and her usual shade light chocolate had hints rosy shade around her cheeks and ears.
"You guys did the deed didn't you, and you didn't tell me."
"I thought I heard moans and giggles in the house, but I ignored it." Salecia said while smiling smugly.
"Ok, yes, fine, we did." Ashanti said finally giving in to Salecia.
"Well, how was it?" Salecia said excitedly.
"It was great." Ashanti said, looking the happiest that Salecia had seen her in a while.
"No wonder you guys have been even more lovey dovey that usual, and I didn't even think that could happen, but hey miracles never cease to stop." Salecia teased.
"I just love him so much you know, and it's such an amazing feeling knowing he loves me just as much." Ashanti said lovingly.
"Okay, okay, enough interrogation for now, let's get going." Salecia said
"Yeah, alright." Ashanti said with her eyes till glued to her phone and a smile constantly on her face.
