"Ok, our choices tonight are; The Notebook, About a Boy and Finding Nemo." Announced Chris while he pushed up his black frame glasses in a way that Salecia found adorable.
"It's close, but I'm gonna have to go with. Dun dun dun." Salecia make a fake drum roll sound. "Finding Nemo."
"Seriously." Chris said with a raised eyebrow.
"Yeah, seriously. Finding Nemo is one the best, most amazing, swaggy and heartwarming movies that I have ever watched in my 19 years of living." Salecia said with mock hurt.
"Ok, ok." Chris said, holding his hands up in defeat. "So you're 19." Chris asked.
"Yeah, why, how old are you?"
"I'm 19 as well, it's just that... you look younger." He said while looking at her in a way that made her cheeks rosy.
"Is that bad or-" Salecia asked quietly.
"No, nothing like that. You're beautiful. One of the most beautiful girls that I've ever seen." He said smiling bashfully.
"Stop it, I'm sure that you've seen girls far prettier and that you're just saying that." Salecia said quietly.
Christopher held the side of her face, tilted his head and leaned in. Salecia leaned in but then gently pushed him away.
"You've only known me a day and you want to kiss me." Salecia asked with a hint of annoyance in her voice.
"You're so beautiful how could I not?" He leaned in again and she pushed him back.
"If you want me, you've got to earn me. I'm not that easy to catch, you know." Salecia said playfully.
"Ok then, I'll earn you the right way." Chris said smiling
"I'm gonna go." Salecia said with an apologetic smile.
"But we haven't even watched Nemo yet." Chris said with yet another lip pout.
Salecia leaned in and kissed him on the cheek "Goodnight Chris, I had fun today." She whispered.
As she turned around, he grabbed her hand and spun her around. "You forgot your book." he said quietly.
"Oh, thanks." Salecia said just as quietly as him
At that moment Salecia realized how close they were. They were standing so close that she could feel his ragged breaths on her temple.
"And for your information, I will work hard for you."
"Glad to hear it Chris."
As she was walking he pulled her back again, but this time into a hug.
"I really did had fun today." He whispered
"Me too." She replied with a smile on her face.
