Mackenzie's POV
After I said his name, I could see his eyes widen in shock. "Y-you're alive?!" Jack questioned and I nodded.
"Yea, I had a few things to deal with. And my appearance was one of them" I stated as I twirled a bit. I saw Jack's eyes narrow in my direction. I was about to ask why he was so mad but then I realized that he wasn't looking at me but at Shadow who stood behind me.
"And who is this?" He asked and I sighed.
"Well in the past few days I ended up finding my maniac of a father and well this-" I said pointing to Shadow.
"-Is Shadow. He works...... I mean, worked for my dad" I finished and he didn't stop staring at him. I turned to look at Shadow to see he was actually staring back at him.
"Should I leave you guys to talk this out?" I asked and Jack shook his head. I sighed in relief as I saw them turn away from each other.
"Could you guys just please promise to get along? For me?" I pleaded. Jack looked down at me and Shadow turned to look at me. When they looked at each other they huffed in unison.
"Fine, deal" they both said and I smiled.
"Thanks guys, oh and Jack?"
"Hmm?"
"Is Slenderman still here?"
"No actually. He left a few hours ago to talk to his brothers. Why?"
"Cause I'm back, And I don't plan on leaving" I answered with a smirk.
"Welcome back Kid" he states as he messes up my hair along with rubbing his hand against my ears. My ear twitched and Jack jumped back.
"Those are actually real?!" He exclaimed and I rolled my eyes.
"Yes Jack, they're real and they work like normal ears.... Just a little more enhanced so please keep your voice down" I said. I walk over to him and hugged him tightly. I felt as he wrapped his arms around me and hugged me back, being careful not to scratch me with his claws. When I let go I smiled and waved.
"Where are you going?"
"Well I gotta go find out it Hoddie and Masky ended up killing Toby while I was gone!" I exclaimed and he chuckled. I ran down the hall with a small smile. I'm glad that I'm back.
