Nathan Autenberry's Point of View
*・゜゚・*:.。..。.:*・・*:.。. .。.:*・゜゚・*I left them on purpose at the cinema. I was grinning evilly as I did, for some reason I ship them together. "Sorry, little Abby," I chortled like a devil.
When I got out, I didn't know where to go next. So I just let my feet take me wherever it goes until I reached outside the mall. In front of where I was standing was a coffee shop. Without hesitation, I forged there for I knew she would not look for me there – she knows I hate coffee.
I decided to sit in the corner most table in the coffee shop. I was staring the wall for I was sitting back from the other customers there – incase Abegail might look for me here (although I don't think she'll even look for me because she hates me).
As I took a sip from the hot choco that I ordered, I heard a loud boom from the door. Though I didn't bother to look behind and continued evil smirking. Couldn't help it, to imagine what's happening right now is heaven.
Roaring footsteps were coming nearer and nearer, I started to get the goosebumps. I hoped it was not Abegail. If it was her, it'd be world war III.
At that moment, my jaw suddenly dropped when I felt an abrupt weight from behind – someone was hugging me. "You finally came!" she said as she sobbed loudly. I felt all of the people were looking at us for they became silent. "I've waited for you for a year now. Please don't ever leave me again!"
"Excuse me?" I asked as I removed her hands from me. I looked at her face and I knew at that moment, she just realized I was not the person whom she was referring.
She looked horrified. I tried to keep my cool and faked a chuckle, "Don't be silly and overdramatic. Come on!" I grabbed her arm and away we went outside. I couldn't handle to stay outside for Abegail might see me if ever she goes outside so I directed towards the taxi cab parked in front of the café. "Go in," I said and she followed.
We sat at the back of the taxi and when the taxi driver asked me where we were heading, I said to Starbucks.
"Do you realize how humiliating that could be?" I asked.
She nodded, "Yes." She couldn't look straight into my eyes, "I'm sorry!" She covered her face.
I fixed my jacket's sleeves, "It's a good thing I know how to keep my cool. Don't worry, all they can think of now is how silly and overdramatic you are."
She suddenly laughed that made me crinkle my eyebrows a bit, I wasn't expecting that kind of reaction. "I guess it's time for me move on."
"Oh," I laughed. "You thought I was your boyfriend?"
She chuckled, "Yeah. Couldn't move on. I messaged him today to meet me there because it's been a year since he broke up with me."
I rolled my eyes, "Talk about loyalty."
"He is loyal," she closed her eyes as she leaned to the car's seat.
I smirked, "Are you kidding me? After he left you?"
"He left me for a reason."
"And what is that?" I asked, but then I added when I realized, "If I may ask."
"I don't know," she paused. "But he has a reason! So... so I'm kinda confident that he'll come back to me," she forced a smile.
We arrived at Starbucks and we continued talking there. "You know," I said. "You should at least be careful because next time, don't go anywhere with a strangers like me."
She immediately raised her arms and acted like she knows karate, "Don't tell me—"
I cut her words by laughing, "No no, I'm not that kind of person. I'm just telling you incase."
She smiled and then took a sip from her drink, "Well thanks for caring for me."
My mouth grouched, "I don't care for strangers," I started chuckling.
"Your words tell everything tho," her eyes smiled along with her lips. "Anyway, thank you," she laughed.
I leaned on the seat, "No prob."
She grabbed her side bag and got her wallet. She opened it and gave me a card. "My phone number is there. If you ever want to retrieve your reward, just call me." She then stood up and stood up quickly while looking at her phone, "Sorry, I gotta to do something important. Bye!"
"Hey," I said fast for she already started to leave. "I don't need your prize or reward or whatever." Though it seemed that she didn't hear me.
I stayed there for some moments and then saw Abegail's text message. I texted the driver to message me right after they arrive so I could go home for it was really boring. When I received the text message of our driver, I went home immediately.
"Theo," I smirked evilly as I leaned on the door of my bedroom when I arrived. "Tell me everything that had happened."
