The clock stroke 10 in the evening and it was time, time for the ball. It's also known as the waltz-y dance if you ask Bea.
Everybody was gathered around the hall and everybody was grouped according to the colors of the outfits.
Since I was wearing pink, I got grouped with four eyes and Theo for they were also wearing pink. Bea was wearing blue so she was on the other group, Steph and Alex on the yellow group and Nathan with his friends on the red group.
We were instructed to dance all around only in the certain color group. So I should only dance with guys wearing pink.
The staffs arranged us and so my first dance was Theo.
"Hey," I said and he greeted back.
"Well this concept came out of hand."
"What do you mean?" he asked.
"Well I made you come here to be Bea's partner, but I never really thought it would end up as color by color sort of group."
"Don't you like it?" he asked.
"It's okay," I smiled, "but I just wonder how's Bea doing."
"She'll be fine," Theo smiled.
"You know," I paused. "I never turned out that you, the erratic flirt-looking guy, would turn out to be one of my close friend," I chuckled.
"I'm sorry," he half-chuckled. "I knew you were Nathan's little sister from the very start so I thought of introducing myself at the library."
"Oh," I laughed.
"You thought different, huh?" he also laughed. "Well I wasn't really planning to flirt, I just wanted to introduce myself since you looked isolated there at the library."
"Yeah," I said. "Sorry for my rude behavior."
"Nah. I always make the wrong impressions because I'm not really good with words."
"I love your words!" I verbalized. "I mean they give me the soothe feelings when I'm feeling down. Like what you said at the balcony. And—"
He cut my words when he spoke, "You're the first one to ever appreciate that, but I don't know how I do that words of wisdom. I think it's just uhh... it comes out from my mouth naturally that I don't even know how."
"It's from your heart," I winked.
"By the way," he paused. "Those flirty stuffs I did, I was really bored like you since I found out you were making a toy out of Jake so I thought I made you feel what Jake feels. I'm not really a jerk or flirt. And that facebook account, he didn't have a phone before when we were still friends so he used my phone number there to verify his account especially when he forgot the password."
"Oh," I said. "What a shocking revelation," I laughed. "Just continue."
"Nah, I got nothing to say more."
"I got to admit, my first impression was really you being an erratic flirt-looking guy, but first impression changes. It always does."
"I don't think so."
"You're kind, Theo."
"Wanna know my first impression?"
"Yup. What was it?" I asked.
Our conversation got disrupted by one of the staff members. "Excuse me miss, sir, sorry for interrupting, but you should change partners with the others."
"Oh sorry," I laughed a little. All of them already changed partners except for us.
"See ya," he said and we then changed partners.
