I was just lying on my bed. Sometimes I get so consciously dizzy that I think I can feel the world moving – I am immortal, I often kid to myself. I was watching my feet getting brightened up by the moonlight beaming between the curtains. I wiggled my feet and I then started thinking about what happened today because it wouldn't come out from my mind.

"Oh right," he chuckled when I kinda slammed my palm on top of the table, it was an accident. I just got caught off guard when I realized we don't even know each other's names.

I stood up and raised my hand for a handshake. "Abegail," I said. "Abegail Autenberry."

"Shall I stand up too?" he asked that made me giggle. He looked like a little kid lost in the mall and wondering where to go. "Stand up," I told him with my chin up. I didn't care if classy people look at us. I mean someone very classy was looking at me daily ever since I was little – myself in the mirror.

He dawdlingly stood up and shook my hand, "Jake Collins."

I came back to reality and I can't help but question myself, is what I'm doing okay? An hour has passed and I still can't sleep, I kept rolling and shifting. I felt like a wiggly worm. When something's worrying me, I get all the nervousness and I just can't sleep. "Just go with the flow," I finally enunciated. I then fell asleep.

The next morning, I woke up earlier than usual for my phone was vibrating plus the annoying ring tone I set. It triggers me to throw that phone unto the aquarium. I half-opened my eyes and grabbed my phone from the bedside table. Someone was calling, I don't want to strain my eyes so I just answered the call without looking at the name, "What?"

"Good morning sweetie," someone greeted me. It's a guy's voice. Judging from that reckless and annoying voice, it's Nathan.

"Blimey," I expressed in a flat tone with a pokerface as I pressed the end call button and continued to sleep.

"Miss Autenberry!" a voice of an old woman woke me this time. When I opened my eyes, once again I was flabbergasted to see my classmates looking at me. "How dare you sleep on my class?" Miss Rutherford was cheesed off.

"Ugh," I let out a sigh as I hid my face behind my arms above the table. I was expecting many students here in the detention room to be many though. It turned out I was the only one here. But I just can't help but argue alone inside my mind. All I wanted was sleep. How am I suppose to learn something when I'm sleepy? And that Nathan, he knew I'd be really sleepy throughout the day if I'd be disturbed. He's evil.

I was sleeping silently inside the detention room when I heard a cracking sound from the door opening. I didn't bother to raise my head to see who it is. I just let my ears listen to the sound made by the door closing with the footsteps. After some time, I heard someone sitting beside me. At that moment, I turned my head to his direction. "What the fudge," I exclaimed.

"Oh hey," he foolishly grinned. I felt my blood evaporating, just seeing his face makes me sick! He's that guy. The guy who attempted to flirt with me at the library. Eww, I don't like people playing with my feelings although I like doing it. He added, "You, me, alone in the detention room. We're so MFEO."

"Made for each other your face!" I sat properly with my chin up, I felt like I was wearing a tiara. "Besides, I already have someone."

He grumpily raised his eyebrow, "Who? Me?"

"Jake Collins."

Suddenly, he bursted out laughing. "Seriously?" He kept laughing hysterically. I watched him do that, he was not even adorable nor hot, if that's what people call him. I think that four eyes laughs way more, uhh, okay.

I got annoyed by him, but I just controlled my anger and went back to sleep. He kept poking my shoulders so I kept impinging my elbow against him until I had enough. "Stop being so annoying!" I bawled.

At the end of class, I dialed four eyes' phone number even though I wasn't really sure if it was his. Yesterday, I tried my luck and search for his name on Facebook. I was quite impress that nerds this generation have Facebook accounts too. I looked at the informations about him and I saw his phone number there, including his birthday: August 11. I even reckoned that it was too easy for him to put his digits because he knew nobody would care to look at it and message him, but he's wrong. I cared.

I heard a girl on the phone spoke, "Sorry, your balance is below the minimum calling current. Please reload soon and try again." I then decided to message him since I didn't have any much load.

I started typing, "Hey, it's me Abegail (your gf). Let's meet at the waiting shed near the parking lot later at class dismissal. Xoxo."

"Okay?" he texted me back after a few minutes.

So the bell finally rang and I rushed to where me and four eyes are supposed to meet. I just sat there until many more students sat on the elongated marble pedestal-looking chair. I tapped my right foot on the ground as I listened to the music with my headphones.

I was serenely letting the music into my ears when someone suddenly rested upon my shoulders as he put his arms on my head. "Hey girlfriend."

My eyebrows raised as they crinkled, it's not four eyes. I knew it. It's that erratic flirt-looking guy. I looked at his direction to confirm, and I was right. "Blimey," I exclaimed to myself.

"I was really outdated," he said. "I never knew your bf was the hottest guy in the university," he winked.

I gently pushed him away from me and breathed deeply and as soon as I exhaled, I started explaining. "I thought your phone number was Jake's."

He smirked, "As if. Stop making him as an excuse if you really like me," he said, assuming.

I rolled my eyes as I inhaled through my mouth, "Woah," I exalted gregariously. "I just saw that phone number from his facebook account."

When he heard my explanation, he horselaughed as he hit the chair. I had an aversion to his attitude because kept swearing along with his cachinnation, I was just rolling my eyes. He then wiped the tears of joy coming from his eyes, "I made that account. Do you expect nerds have facebook accounts?" he chortled.

I raised my left cheek, "Well, I thought Jake can have one for he's different among the nerds."

"What makes him different?" he smirked.

I hated looking at him for it made me feel like puking. Before I could answer him, I saw the apple of my eyes heading his way to the parking lot. I decided not to answer the question and ignore Theo, that erratic flirt-looking guy. I knew his name because duh, everybody knows.

After I saw Jake, I ran immediately towards his back. I blindfolded him from behind with my algid hands, "Guess who."

"Abegail?" he questioningly answered. He removed my cold hands from his face as he moved his head to check if it was really me. Turned out, I was the one who got flabbergasted by my own mini surprise attack. His face was really near mine. My face felt hot, and at that moment I just realized something again.
