I had no idea where the Great Hall was of course, and since I didn't have a map or anything, all I could do was wonder around and hope I could find it.

When I walked out of my room, I could either take a left or a right. I chose right, just because. As I walked, nothing changed. Every single solitary wall, ceiling and floor was the way it was when I walked out of my room. It made it hard to tell where I was going.

I obviously wasn't getting anywhere, so I started to run. It felt good. Like I was back home riding Pomade, my horse. Exept I was using my own feet this time.

Up ahead, I could see a slight change in the wall pattern. I was at least getting some where. I ran faster, and faster. It was fun, running.

As I was about to get to the wall that marked I was in a different section of the academy, A body jumped out in front of me. It was too late to stop myself, I had been running to fast. Our heads collided, and we both ended up on the floor.

"Ouch!" I rubbed the top of my head where there was a small bump that would probably turn into a bruise later on.

Then I turned to the person on the ground next to me. "HOW DARE YOU!" I screamed. "YOU TOTALLY JUST RAN INTO ME!"

"Um, excuse me," A slightly agrivated guys voice said in return, "But you were the one to run into me."

As I turned toward the voice, I saw a guy about my age. He facial expression didn't seem mad though. He was laughing!

"Are you laughing at me!?" I asked, still frustrated. "Yes." He said promptly with no hesitation.

I was about to slap him for that, but then I remembered what had just happened and started to laugh to. Then laughs turn to cackles, which turned to strait out balling.

We sat that way for quite awhile until we finally calmed ourselves. I don't know why we laughed so long, it was even really that funny...

After we were done with that, we just sat on the floor in silence. Finally, he got up and brushed himself off. Then he extended a hand to help me up. I took it, and without any struggle, he pulled me to my feet.

"Hi," he said, still holding my hand. "I'm Jaspen."
