I sat on the cold floor of the cell, handcuffed to the wall. I had been here for 2 days, soon to be 3 at midnight. They didn't rest to integrate me. Every time I didn't answer, I was physically abused.

Today they held me over a small fire to burn. They kept me there for 5 minutes. Then they gave me a treatment that would keep me alive from the burning, but didn't soothe the pain in anyway.

I could still feel the fire on my skin. I screamed in pain. I screamed and didn't stop until I had no air left in my body.

Then I started to cry. I sobbed into my cold hands, trying to pretend I was somewhere else. I imagined that I was back home.

I stared out the small window across the room. It was the only window. Nobody was coming for me. If I was going to survive, I would have to try to get out of this place on my own. The only thing was that I had no idea how to do it.

I woke up in the morning in the same room, using the hard wall as my pillow. I could hear footsteps coming down a large winding staircase that lead to the dungeon. The man that first brought me here was holding a key. He unlocked my arms, then grabbed them and forced me up the stairs, back into the same room they used the first day to try to get me to talk.

Then the woman approached me. "Hello once again, Ms. White. I hope you decide to talk today. After all, we believe that you've been here quite long enough. So you have the choice to talk or die."

"Why are you so evil!? What do you want from me!?" I asked her in urgency. "Oh, you know what I want." She said in her cold voice. "Where is the terral!?"

"I don't know!" I half screamed at her, half sobbed."

Then you leave me with no choice." She turned to look at two men standing by the door. "Gentleman, please take her to the current room." They nodded at her, then walked toward me and picked me up. I was going to try to struggle, but I knew that no matter what I did, I wouldn't be able to escape.

They walked a couple of short blocks, then opened a door. Inside was a small, but deep pool. I wondered what it was for, but I quickly got the memo.

They walked over to the pool, and before I could say a word, they threw me into the water on my back. I tried to grab onto something, but was only able to touch the air.

My body touched the surface of the water. It was fresh water, not chlorine or salt, so they must have just filled the pool today.

I tried to swim to the surface of the pool, but a strong, downwards current was keeping me from reaching the top. I wasn't strong enough to swim past it. I was going to drowned in here. And they weren't going to save me last minute like with the fire.

My air level was dropping fast. I needed oxygen. I could feel myself slipping away, but this time, never to return. It was over. All over. Goodbye world. Goodbye Jaspen. I'm sorry. I'm sorry.
