I picked a table to sit at next to a group of girls. As soon as I sat down, food magicaly appeared on my plate.
"Cool!" I wispered to myself as I began to eat. The food was delicious, better than I had ever tasted in my entire life. I stuffed my face. It was the best meal ever, and I ate like I never had food before. But somehow I wasn't feeling... Fat.
Hmm. Magical food is strange, but not a bad strange. As soon as I finished eating, the food, as well as the plate and utensils, all dissappeared.
I wasn't sure what to do now, so I turned to the girl next to me. "Hi!" I started the conversation. She turned to me realizing I was talking. "Hello," she responded back in a mild tone.
"I'm new here," I told her. "And I was hoping you could give me directions on what to do after I finish my meal.""Oh, sure." She pointed her finger close to the door. "After you eat, always go to Miss Lae for your nightly assignment."
"Thanks!" I told her and started to walk off. "Oh wait," I said , turning back around. "I'm India." I said extending my hand torward her.
"I'm Blare." She told me, taking my hand. "Nice to meet you."
"You too."With that I walked off to Miss Lae. When I reached her, she asked for my last name. "White," I told her. She then handed me a piece of paper with my name on it. I assumed that I was supposed to go to my room next, so I left the Great Hall and returned to my small circular bedroom.
