     ~ Pat-Car/Patrick's POV ~

' Why? Why are you so hard on yourself? ' She said after getting off the bed.
' I have no idea...I owe you a lot and thats all I know. ' I said, looking down.
' Well don't be. This is more than enough. ' She said, smiling.

' Sorry I woke you up. '
' Its fine. Go and rest, Pat-Car. Lets go to the church this evening. Okay? THANK YOU so much for taking care of me. ' She said.
' Are you feeling better? ' I asked.
' Yes. Thank you so much, Patrick. ' She said as she hugged me.
' Okay. Thats good. I'll go rest now. ' I said then I left the room. I heaved a sigh of relief.

~ Pip/Sophie's POV ~

I couldn't stop smiling. I was healed from a fever and I felt so much better. He left the room. Thank you, Pat-Car.

I went to his room to check on him. He was asleep. He was so exhausted from staying up all night, taking care of me. It was already 4.30 a.m. when he got to rest on his own bed.
The scant moonlight guided my path. I went downstairs, got some coffee, and sat on the couch. I turned on the television and watched the news. Oh. Shit.
I saw Pat-Car's face. Missing? Why is Patrick on the news? The Vatican thought that he was dead. I thought. I almost spat my coffee. I saw...Mr. Langdon.
' If you ever see him, please inform the Vatican. A prize of $5,000 would be given to you if you inform us. ' Mr. Langdon said, on the news.
A few minutes later, the door hissed open and Nicole rushed in.
' HAVE YOU SEEN THE NEWS?! PATRICK IS- ' She screamed.
' Yes I have. ' I cut her off.
' Oh god. Don't worry, we won't turn him in. '
Pat-Car rushed down the stairs and ran towards me.
' Whats going on? Are you okay? Did you faint again? Tell me! ' He panicked.
' Calm down, Patrick. Its just that...you were on the news. They used an old picture of you though. Not a picture of you now; in your disguise. They said that you were last seen with a woman but they didn't mention Sophie and they think that you didn't die. The Vatican is looking for you. ' Nicole replied. I kept quiet; appalled by what I've heard.

Patrick covered his mouth with his hand as he heard the appalling news from Nicole.
' What...what do we do? '
' We have to improve your disguise; change your accent, the way you do anything, and how you react to things. The Vatican will be able to realize its you by your voice. ' I said, seriously.

' Okay. ' He said, in loss of words.
' Patrick, if you are to get a job, you must get a job that is different from what the Vatican might think you might have chosen. ' Nicole added.
' Great idea. Can I be a librarian? I have nothing to do in this house, to be honest and I have always wanted to be one. When I was a child, I loved to read books and- ' He said. I cut him off.
' Not the time for childhood stories, Pat-Car. ' I joked.
' Alright then. ' He said, folding his arms and smiling.

There was a moment of silence until I broke it.

' Theres a library nearby which is just a few minutes away. Its an old library. The best part is that they're looking for new employees! ' I beamed.
' I can make a fake birth certificate for Patrick so no need to worry about that. ' Nicole added.
' You guys are the best! I hope this goes well. ' Patrick said.

' I should get going. Thomas is gonna wonder where I am. Bye guys! '
' We're going to Sant'Agnese in Agone later this evening by the way so...we're not gonna be here. ' I said.
' Oh okay. I hope people won't notice you. Bye! ' Nicole motioned for the door and said her goodbye then left the house.

~ Pat-Car/Patrick's POV ~

Nicole left the house. I turned and faced the television. I turned it off and looked at Pip. I smiled and she returned the smile. I fed Obi and I said my goodbye then went up to my room. I went to the balcony and stared at the dark starry sky. The cool breeze hit my body and I sighed, closing my eyes.
If the Vatican finds out that I'm with Allison, she's gonna be in so much trouble and I'm probably gonna be excommunicated which means that I won't be there to help her. Father, help me. Please. I thought to myself.
After standing at the balcony, enjoying the view, I lay down on the bed, soft yet firm pillows cradling my head. I fell asleep immediately.
