~ 3rd Person POV ~
A man; clever, insightful and thoughtful--he's most likely gone far in whatever he's done, was sitting on a chair and a wooden table stood ahead of him. He laid his hairy fingers on the laptop and typed furiously.
He was talking to some unknown and mysterious Illuminati master. That Illuminati master was assigned by the Camerlengo, a long time ago when he was still plotting the conspiracy, to take over his place as Janus when he sacrifices himself to Lord when the Vatican finds out.
This Illuminati master, Janus, has a plan against the Camerlengo. He knows that if the Camerlengo remains alive, he would be turned in by Carlo to the Vatican, just to save himself. What this Illuminati master does not know, is that Carlo would never, ever, do that. Janus has a plan that will disappoint the very foundations of their relationship, long before their conspiracy has been plotted. Good luck to you, old friend. May God bless you. Janus said, in his mind.(Conversation between Janus and the man on the laptop.)
Levin: Master, the Camerlengo survived.
Janus: How?!
Levin: A girl saved him.
Janus: Who is the girl?
Levin: We don't know.
Janus: WELL, LOOK FOR HER.
Levin: Yes, master.Another man; blue-eyed, surprisingly handsome and black-haired, came out of the darkness and stood behind Levin who was still talking to Janus.
' Who are you talking to? ' He said, smoking his cigarette.
' Janus. '
' Alright. 'He still stood behind the man on the laptop.
' The Camerlengo survived, Alfred.' Levin blurted out.
' How? ' Alfred replied, still smoking his cigarette.
' A girl saved him. '
' Do you know who she is? '
' I have no idea. '
' We have to find her. '
' Right. I've told Janus. He's clearly mad and anxious. '
Alfred started to walk around the room. Upon hearing that it was a girl, his sister was the first thing that showed up in his mind. Can't be my sister, pff. She can never do such a thing. He said, in his mind. When he was done smoking, he threw his cigarette on the ground, stepped on it, and then threw it into the trashcan. Alfred was intractable. No matter how many times Levin had told him to stop smoking, he still smoked.
Alfred walked around the room. The room was old, dark and small. It was a perfect place to hide. It was in Rome. Alfred was the assistant of Levin. Although an assistant was not needed, the man on the laptop needed someone to replace him as well, to continue their existence, when he dies. Alfred was a Catholic...but his faith was shaken badly when his parents died and he got separated from his sister, ten years ago. He would easily get angry and pissed off. His pain never went away since his parents died and his sister was nowhere to be found.Alfred eyed a picture on the table. No, it can't be. He picked it up and looked closely at the woman who was hugging the Camerlengo, in front of the entrance of the Vatican. No,no,no. The woman had blue-eyes and brown hair. He eyed another picture on the table. This time, it showed the woman's face. He could recognize her face.
He covered his mouth with his hands. Tears trickled down his face as he put the pictures down and ran outside the room. He starred at the starry night sky and bursted into tears. God, help me. H-How could she do this? Why would she save the Camerlengo?! Does she know I am involved in this fiasco? Shit. Allison...
Levin left his chair, closed the laptop, and ran after him and came up behind him. He laid a hand on Alfred's shoulder.
' What's wrong? I've never seen you cry since you lost your parents and your sister. '
' The girl. '
' What? '
' She's my sister and her name is Allison. '
' Oh shit. '
' Why? '
' Janus...wants revenge. '
' I have a bad feeling about this. '~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Hi. Really short chapter. Heh. Basically, I wanted to reveal who was her brother. If you didn't understand much of the chapter, Alfred is actually the name of her brother and he was involved with what happened in the Vatican. Levin is the 'notetaker'. I'll elaborate more on that, next time. Christian is Carlo's brother which you will find about soon.
Have a great day! Chapter 16 will be out on Saturday! :))
