A/N: Amalia please don't hug me
One long and tiresome pillow fight later Gabriel was triumphant, standing over me with feathers scattered around him. He had six wings, all golden in colour, and they mingled with the cascade of white that floated down from the ceiling. He was an angel, it was obvious that he would win. Any move I planned he would just see in my mind and dodge out of the way.
"You're not very good at hiding your thoughts," Gabriel said with a grin, helping me up.
You're a dick, was my immediate response.
"Hey!" Gabriel said, hitting me with the remnants of a pillow. "That's rude! I am an archangel, after all."
"And I'm a demonic trickster, what's your point?" I retorted.
"Ah, there's the sass," Gabriel grinned. "I've missed it."
"You've never heard-"
"I was lingering long before visualising," Gabriel interrupted. "Keeping an eye on the Winchesters, and Cassie. Dad knows they need to be looked after."
"And yet you threw Sam and Dean into TV land and beat Cas up repeatedly," I said slowly.
"Huh. You really do know your stuff," Gabriel said approvingly. "You're gonna be useful."
"Oh, be quiet, you're dead in Supernatural," I said offhandly.
"Spoiler!" Gabriel exclaimed, looking offended. "And I don't believe you when you say Luci did it. I simply don't."
"Believe what you want to believe," I shrugged, starting to gather feathers in a pile with my foot, "but it happens, and you die. Sorry."
"We're not in Supernatural now," Gabriel said. "I'm an archangel, you're a demon. Let's have fun." His whisky eyes glinted and he had an air of mischief and cunning about him, different from the casual humour that surrounded him usually.
"What do you mean?" I asked suspiciously.
"Let's go to town!" Gabriel declared. "I won't knock things over with my wings, you can fight people and it'll be amusing."
"We need to be downstairs with the pupils in..." I paused and checked my watch. We'd been told that the pupils had to be supervised for the first meal in the hotel, after that they were allowed free reign."Shoot! Now!"
I bolted for the door while Gabriel simply teleported downstairs. All the pupils were mingling in the lobby, irritating the receptionist with screams and yells.
"Please control your pupils," another worker snapped as I skidded down stairs. Gabriel was weaving through the children, looking alarmed.
"All the teachers are gone," he said in concern.
"What do you mean, gone?" I questioned, scanning the room quickly. There was over two hundred pupils all assembled in the lobby, fighting, talking or on their phones. It was chaos.
"Vanished. Skedaddled. Left without a trace. Poof." Gabriel snapped his fingers for emphasis. "We're the only two left, and that's 'cause we're not human."
"Supernatural forces are at work," I murmured.
"You're a demon, not a hunter," Gabriel remarked. "Quit stressing and enjoy yourself! Heck knows I will."
"Gabe, we're in charge of two hundred rowdy teenagers," I said weakly. "Do you really think we have time for fun?"
"Ditch them, go to town and disappear from the face of the earth," Gabriel said, looking at me as if the answer was obvious all along. "We can do whatever we want."
