I froze as the door opened. In came my mate. He closed the door and just stared at me from there. His gaze was intense. I couldn't tell what he was thinking about.
Suddenly my arm throbbed again and I hissed in pain. He snapped his gaze down to my arm then back up at me.
He walked over to the bathroom door and disappeared inside for a minute before coming back out with a fist aid kit in hand. He kneeled down in front of me. "Know how to clean a bite wound?" He said.
"Um." I paused. My father did teach me about treatment, but I haven't practiced it myself. "Not really."
He let out a sigh and opened the kit. "For an Alpha's daughter you sure have a lot to learn."
I frowned. "Hey, I know much about how to lead."
"Leading is more than just giving orders and marking your territory."
"Says the one who nearly killed his own pack member just because he was braze enough to say something." I snapped.
Bad move.
He glared at me. Even when he was kneeling down he was eye level with me. "You don't have a right to lecture me."
"You're my ma-"
He cut me off with a loud growl. To be honest, it hurt. My own mate doesn't want to hear the word 'mate'.
No other words were exchanged between us as he dabbed alcohol on my wound. I wanted so badly to flinch away, but I didn't want to seem weak. So I just sucked it up and kept my mouth shut.
He wrapped the bite wound with some wraps then stood once he was done. I looked up at him. "Thanks." It was barely a whisper.
He only huffed in response. I glared at him. "I was trying to be nice to you!"
He glared at me over his shoulder. "Don't you know who I am girl? Cause if you did, you wouldn't dare speak to me like that."
I huffed a laugh. "Like I said. I only know that you're an Alpha and my mate. What are you, some special werewolf or something?" I said sarcastically.
He smirked. "My name is Thresh. Thresh Vossen, but many know me as the Blood Alpha."
My eyes widened.
What.
The.
FUCK?!?!
NO! This-this can't be happening!
His smirk grew as he saw me panicking.
The Blood Alpha, the one who has killed so many innocent lives, is my mate?!
"That's right." Thresh said as he stalked closer to me. I backed away, which made me fall to the floor. "Your mate is a murderer." My back hit the wall and I curled my knees to my chest. He leaned down and grabbed my chin with his rough hands, forcing me to look into his red eyes. "I'd kill you here and now, but I won't."
"W-why?"
He chuckled eerily. "Your father is the High Alpha of the North, why do you think I need you?"
With that he released my chin and walked to the door. Without another word, he left. I was now alone with my thoughts.
I stared at the wall opposite of me. I didn't know what to think.
My mate was a killer.

I must've fallen asleep sometime after Thresh left because I found myself on his bed. I knew I didn't put myself here, but I assumed it was the Beta. What was his name again? Ronan? Something like that.
