I stood in front of Thresh near the tree line of the forest. The rest of his pack already left. Thresh hesitated to leave me here.

"I don't like that I'm leaving you. I'd feel better if you just come with me." He said.

I shook my head. "I can't, and you know that. My parents, my friends, they need me here. Plus it's also a way for me to guarantee that my dad will calm down."

Thresh sighed. "Fine, but be careful. And if anything happens, call for me."

I cupped his face. "Thresh, things will be fine here. You need to go and take care of your pack. I'm pretty sure Gavin's brother is a mess right now. You take care of them."

Thresh smiled and nodded. "Yes Luna."

I chuckled. "Come here you."

I clubbed the back of his head and leaned up to give him a kiss, until my dad ruined the moment. "Shiva! Come on! We need you in here!"

I scoffed and Thresh growled. I turned back toward dad who was on the porch. "I'm coming!" Then turned back to Thresh. "Please be safe out there."

"You too."

With that, Thresh turned and shifted, running and disappearing from my sight. I sighed as I watched him go, then jogged back to the house.

Thresh's POV

I arrived at the den and headed to the underground prison. Ronan was standing cross armed in from of a cell. He turned to me when he heard the door shut.

"Hasn't revealed anything yet." My Beta said.

I turned to the the blindfolded, beaten and bloody man inside the cell. He was chained to the wall with silver cuffs.

"Time to change that." I growled out as I walked inside the cell.

I kneeled down in from of the man who was whimpering slightly. I removed the blindfold. The man's eyes widened when he saw me and he attempted to scurry away. Pathetic. I grabbed hold of his brown hair which man him whimper even more.

"You know, I remember a time when I was about your age. Not a care in the world. But there also comes a time when you just have to grow the fuck up. I learned that the hard way." I pointed to the scar on my eye. "So unless you want to learn the easy way, I suggest you spit out everything you know, or I swear a little scar won't even be close to what I can do to you."

The man was terrified, but he shook his head. "I swear! I don't know anything!"

I sighed. "Some people never learn."

Then, I grabbed his arm and bent it the opposite way that it was suppose to go. A loud crack was heard and the man screamed in pain. "Who's behind this?"

"P-please. I do-don't know anything."

I put more pressure on his now broken arm. "Don't. Lie. To. Me."

"AHHHH!! PLEASE!"

"TELL ME!"

"ALRIGHT! ALRIGHT!" The man panted. "He told us to go after one of your pack members. It was at random. We didn't know who we would be killing!"

I growled. "Who is 'he'?"

No answer, which made me even more pissed off. I sighed and stood. "Looks like we are going to have to do this the hard way."

I walked inside my house just as the sun was beginning to rise. I spent the entire night in the prison, interrogating the man who I learned was named Henry. His blood coated my hands, chest and some of my neck.

I walked upstairs and into my bathroom. Taking a shower sounded like heaven right now.

I turned on the water to let it warm up as I took off my clothes. The water felt nice as it massaged my back. I sighed at the feeling.

Suddenly, Shiva's face flashed in my mind. Her beautiful short, black hair framing her perfectly tanned face. And her eyes. God, I loved her sun colored eyes.

I smiled slightly at the thought of her being all mine. Never in my life would I have ever thought that some one like Shiva would even stick around willingly. She said that she loves me.

No she doesn't.

I growled at that fucking voice. He's been in my head for years.

"Shut up."

She doesn't love you.

"Yes she does."

Your own mother didn't even love you enough to stop your father from hurting you.

I shook my head. "No. You're wrong! She loved me too! You're wrong!"

How could anyone love someone who just nearly killed a man just an hour ago?

My eyes widened slightly. He was right. What would Shiva say if she saw me beating a man? And my mother, a tiny part of me is happy that she's dead so she won't see that her son is a monster.

They both would be so disappointed in you.

I snarled and grabbed my head. "Get out!"

Just give in to me.

"No!"

Let your insanity roam free.

"GET OUT!"

Silence.

Good.

I panted and turned off the water. I dried myself off and put on some fresh clothes for the day. Ronan and I were going to investigate where Gavin was killed.

But I couldn't help but think...

... Am I really insane?

I didn't get to finish my own thoughts because that's when I heard a familiar howl.
