You open the present and it's a picture of your mom teaching you your first spell. With it a parchment telling you to say these words when people arrive

You say the first incarnation and the picture changes to one of you and Niku on the swings. Then you say the next and it changes back to the ever so touching moment.

"Wow honey your just like mommy. Let me teach you how to do something cool. Say Tixerrus omuh ed"
You repeat what you mother said then suddenly a rose sprouted drone the ground. It was beautiful. It petals looked so delicate and fragile that you were scared to touch it out of fear of it turning to dust. The flower was a magnificent shade of red that was much too beautiful for words. But nothing compared to the thorns. They were perfectly crafted and added so much beauty to the rose. Most people wouldn't even think twice about the thorns but in your eyes they were the most important part of the rose. The thorns the were there to protect the soft and delicate petals. Always there to make sure that they were safe. As long as they were there no harm could come to the flower. In you eyes a rose is only as good as its thorns.
