"BEEP BEEP BEEP" your annoying alarm clock just wouldn't shut up "Eredrep!" You yelled then your alarm clock was in pieces "ugh what time is it?" You checked your phone "oh no I'm gonna be late!" You quickly got dressed and ran out of the house. The building was in sight so you decided to use your rope dart but you accidentally hit a random stranger. Wait a second you know this random stranger. It was kid! "Sorry kid I didn't see you there."
"It's ok at least you hit me in the middle so I'm still symmetrical."
"So since we bumped into each other wanna walk together."
"Sure."
You both walked in silence. But this silence is different from the awkward silence that comes when you don't know what to say. This silence was comfortable and calm. It reminded you of home, of your dad.
Your dad was always calm and level headed. He was a kind man who cared about every living thing he had ever met no matter how wicked or cruel it was. He loved these calm and peaceful silences. He was so loving as if he was the very definition of love. How. How could he have died? How could someone be so evil and heartless as to kill this kind, gentle, and innocent man? A man who dedicated his life to helping others. Just because he was a Neko. His species was the only reason they feared him, the only reason they killed him.
At this point, you started crying. You didn't even notice until kid asked you if everything was alright.
"Is it about Niku?"
"No, it's not that, it's my dad. As we were walking I started to think about him."
"Why were you crying, did he do something, did he hurt you."
"No. Nothing like that he would never he was the kindest and gentlest man to ever grace this earth with his presence."
"So then why are you crying."
"He was brutally murdered because of something that he had no control over."
You started breaking down and crying, remembering that day.

"Daddy where are you going?" You asked. At the time you were only four and you didn't understand much about racism and violence.
"I'm going meet some people who don't like me very much."

But don't worry because I'll be at a beautiful peaceful place with brightly colored flowers and birds with such marvelous voices and friends that I haven't seen in a long time."
