Camila's POV
"Some of my friends are gonna be there. Do you mind?" Chris asked us.
"No, not at all." I said, giving him a small smile.
He smiled back then continued to dribble the basketball as we walked to the court.
"They're really nice, so you don't have to worry about anything. Oh, and Camila, do you know Austin by any chance?"
"Austin..?"
"Mahone. He goes to your school so I figured you knew who he was."
"Yeah, uh, he's actually my ex boyfriend." I answered awkwardly.
His mouth opened in shock.
"Oh. Sorry, I didn't know. You guys can go back home if you'd like." Chris apologized.
"Uh, no it's fine. Right Lauren?" I asked, looking at Lauren.
Lauren only nodded.
I know she hates Austin, and I do too, but she could've at least said something.
As we arrived at the court, I noticed that Austin, Harry, Ashton, and Shawn were there.
Shawn? What the hell is he doing here?
The boys walked over to Chris and shook hands with him.
Then they noticed me and Lauren.
"So, you brought your sister, and a lady friend." Ashton said, smirking.
"Yeah, this is Camila. Lauren's friend." Chris said.
"Oh, yeah! We have Chemistry together, right?" Harry asked.
"Yeah," I nodded.
Me and Harry have only talked a few times. But he was really nice, I liked him.
I knew Ashton because he was in my History class.
"Camila, I didn't know you'd be here." Shawn said.
"Yeah." I mumbled, looking down at my hands.
"Alright, well let's get this game started. You girls wanna play?" Harry asked.
"Oh, no. I'm good." I said, nicely.
"Okay," Harry shrugged.
"Lauren?" Chris asked.
"Sure," Lauren said, shrugging.
The guys walked over to the center, leaving me and Lauren by ourselves.
"I don't like them." Lauren said.
"C'mon, Harry and Ashton are nice." I argued.
"Yeah, but I was talking about the other two."
"Lauren, you don't need to worry about them. You're mine, okay? I love you, not them." I said, holding her hands.
Lauren blushed, looking down.
"I love you too," Lauren said, looking me in the eyes.
I smiled and looked around to make sure the guys weren't looking. They weren't, so I turned back to Lauren and kissed her on the lips quickly.
It was a quick kiss, but it was enough to make the butterflies in my stomach go wild.
When I looked back at he guys, I noticed Austin was glaring at us.
I rolled my eyes at him and let go of Lauren's hands.
"Go play. I'll be sitting on the bench over there watching you, okay?" I said, smiling.
