Camilacabello97: I can't wait to see you.
LaurenJauregui: You literary saw me a few days ago.
Camilacabello97: I know, but I miss your hugs and your kisses.
LaurenJauregui: I miss your hugs and kisses too.
LaurenJauregui: But why are you texting me in class, again?
Camilacabello97: Sorry..
Camilacabello97: I just wanted to talk :(
LaurenJauregui: We can talk later, okay?
LaurenJauregui: I gotta go.
Camilacabello97: Alright. Byee

"Mija, what are you doing?" My mom asked.
"Oh, I'm just getting ready to go out tonight." I answered simply.
"With who?" My mom questioned.
"My girlfriend." I replied.
"Girlfriend?" My mom asked, crossing her arms.
"Yep," I said, nodding my head.
"You didn't tell me that."
"I know, I'm sorry."
"How long have you been dating her?"
"For almost a month. Why?"
"Is she pretty? Is she nice?" I chuckled.
"Yes, she's very nice and beautiful." I answered honestly.
"Well, I would love to meet her sometime. Ask her if she would like to stay for dinner, yeah?" My mom said as she walked out the door.
I rolled my eyes and pulled out my phone.
Camilacabello97: Can you stay tonight for dinner?
LaurenJauregui: Yeah, sure.
Camilacabello97: Okay 😀
LaurenJauregui: I'm almost ready.
LaurenJauregui: I'll be over soon, babe.
I smiled at the text.
Camilacabello97: Alright.

Lauren's POV
"Hey," I said, smiling as she pulled me into a hug.
"Hi," She smiled back.
We both pulled back and I leaned in and placed a quick kiss on her lips.
"Am I interrupting something?" A voice said.
Camila turned around, her eyes wide.
"Uh, no. We were just about to come inside, Mom." Camila said, nervously.
"Whatever you say, sweetie. Anyway, hi! I'm Camila's mother. And you are?" Camila's mom said, shaking my hand.
"I'm Lauren. It's nice to meet you, Mrs. Cabello." I replied.
"Oh, please. Call me Sinu." I nodded.
"Camila, will you go inside and get your father?"
"Sure. But, why?"
"Just go get him." Sinu demanded.
Camila gave her a questioning look before going inside the house.
Moments later, Camila came back outside with her dad.
"What's going on?" Camila's dad asked when he noticed me.
"Alejandro, this is Lauren." Sinu introduced.
"Hello, Lauren," He said, shaking my hand.
"Hi," I said.
"Are you one of Camila's friends?" He asked.
"Um, well-"
"She's Camila's girlfriend." Sinu said, cutting me off.
"Wait, what? Girlfriend?" He asked, his eyes wide.
"You're dating my daughter?" He asked in disbelief.
I swallowed the lump in my throat and nodded slowly.
He glanced over at Camila.
"Karla, may I have a word with you? Alone."

Hi guys!
So, I know it's been a while since I last updated, and I apologize for that. I was going through a lot of things and I just didn't feel like writing.
But I'm back now, and I will update next Friday :)
Oh and btw, I am currently working on a new story called Cold and Helpless.
And it should be up in a few days.
