Avery

"OMG YAS!!" Jordyn laughs, as we fumble up the steps to my house.

The whole walk back to my house consisted of laughing and telling jokes.

Our stomachs ached from laughing so much.

I reached into the pocket of my black skinny jeans, and searched for my house key.

My hand pulled out the silver key, with a heart charm dangling from it.

I inserted it into the key slot and popped open the door.

We all walked in, and went straight up to my room.

"What should we do to prank him?" I ask, opening up my curtains which revealed the view of Cameron's room next door.

His room was dark and empty. Cameron had to stay back at school to do an hours worth of detention, after he flipped the teacher off.

I giggled to myself, as I pictured Cameron sitting in a desk, bored to tears.

"I don't think anyone's home". I said, as I tried to look in the driveway of their house.

Their driveway laid empty. Only the presence of a basketball sitting there, slightly moving as the wind hit it.

"C'mon". I say, to the girls, as I slid my balcony door open, and stepping onto the platform outside.

Jordyn came behind me, along with Dylan and Beverly.

"What are you doing?" Dylan asks, as she watched me climb the railing.

I look back at her. "Let's sneak into his room". I quietly whisper.

They all looked at me like I was crazy.

"Are you kidding me?!" Jordyn yell-whispers. "What if someone's home, and they catch us?"

I roll my eyes. "It's called;being quiet". I say, in a duh tone.

I jumped over the ledge, with my feet landing onto Cameron's balcony.

"C'mon". I say again, gesturing for them to come with me.

They stood standing there for another minute, debating weather or not to follow my actions.

Jordyn was the first to follow me.

She propped her legs up onto the rail, and jumped.

I helped her get over the ledge, so she wouldn't fall, and pulled her over.

Dylan was next.

We all looked back at Beverly, who still stood standing on my balcony.

"You coming?" I ask.

She quickly shakes her head.

"I don't want to get in trouble". She says, crossing her arms over her chest.

Jordyn sighed. "You coward".

"I'll just stay back here and watch". She says, walking back into my room.

"Whatever". I shrug.

I turn around and place my hands on the door handle.

I tugged on it, and luckily, it was unlocked.

We walked into the dark room of Cameron's.

It smelt like a Calvin Klein store to be honest. Fresh, and manly.

I looked around the humongous room, looking at what he could do.

We could trash it? We could set up a secret camera? Wait- yes! That's an amazing idea!

I quickly run back to the balcony and called Beverly's name.

Beverly appears in the doorframe of my room.

"What?" She asks.

"Go into my closet, and find me my Bluetooth security camera!" I order, pointing at my white painted closet doors.

Beverly looks behind her and nods.

"Oh no". I hear Jordyn laugh behind me.

I turn to her. "What's wrong?" I ask.

"You're setting up a camera in his room?" She asks.

I give her a smirk. "Oohh Yeaahh!"

"That's brilliant!" She exclaims.

"Avery!" I hear my name being called.

I look back at Beverly, who waved her arms with the camera in her hand.

"Catch!" She orders, before throwing it at me.

I caught the light weighed camera, and gripped it into my hands.

I walked back into Cameron's room, looking for a place to put it.

It had to be somewhere hidden. Somewhere he would never find it...

"What about right here?" Dylan asks, as she points to a spot in his bookshelf.

I thought to myself, "Cameron never reads", so he would most likely not even go near the bookshelf.

"Brilliant". Was all I said.

I walked over to her, and placed the camera in the middle of the shelf.

Since the bookcase was right against the wall, it gave us the view of his entire room! It was a perfect spot!

I covered it up with a few books, so that the camera was barley noticeable.

Once it was all hidden, I quickly connected it to my phone, by Bluetooth.

My phone made a clink noise, indicating that it was all set up.

By then, we heard a door from downstairs shut, and soon the sound of boys voices.

Dylan and Jordyn gasped, and quickly covered their mouths.

"They're home!" I yell-whispered.

We quickly ran towards the balcony doors.

The sound of footsteps made their way up the stair case.

One by one, we all took turns hopping over back to my place.

As I was the last one on the balcony, I pushed everyone inside and slammed the door.

Dylan quickly snapped the curtains shut, so Cameron wouldn't see us.

By then, Cameron was already in his room.

"That was a close one!" Jordyn panted.
