"Thank you Doctor R". I say, before walking away on my crutches.

"No problem Mr.Dallas". He says, patting my back.

After a day of resting and laying around, the doctor finally let me walk.

He gave me an hour to roam the hospital halls, to help me get used to having crutches.

He gave me pain killers, which totally helped with my pain. I couldn't feel a thing!

I left my hospital room, and began walking down the hallway.

Doctors and nurses walked the hall, giving me a friendly smile as I past them.

As I got to the end of the hallway, nurses and doctors ran quickly towards Avery's room.

I stopped walking and watched as about six people rushed into the room.

What the hell was happening?

I steady myself up, and make my way quickly over to her door.

I walked in, to see people crowding around the bed.

"Avery?" I ask, my voice cracked in worry.

A male doctor turned around at the sound of my voice.

"Son, you can't be in here". He says, walking towards me.

He puts his hand on my back, and tried to guide me out of the room.

"What's happening?!" I ask, as I try to sneak a peek at Avery.

The heart monitor was flat, which drove me scared shitless.

He didn't answer my question.

"What's happening?!" I repeat, trying to push him off of me.

"Her breathing stopped, and I can't let you be in here!"

He pushed me out of the room, and before I could react, he had slammed the door in my face.

I tried tugging on the door handle, but it wouldn't budge.

I pressed my face up against the window and tried to see what was going on.

I watched as the several people grabbed materials and began using them on her.

My chest rapidly rose up and down.

I watched as a man grabbed a pair of electrified zappers.

I squeezed me eyes shut, and leaned against the wall.

I slid my body down, and plugged my ears.

I would always see people using them on tv, whenever a person stopped breathing. I always hated the sound of the zap noise, and how the persons chest jumped.

Even when my ears were plugged, I hear the loud electrified noise, which made me cringe.

My mind began going crazy.

I prayed for her to wake up. Why did she even stop breathing in the first place?!

I heard the sound of the electricity being used again, and then the sound of the heart monitor.
