"Jack..." Cameron says, glaring at him hardly.
Jack stood there with a few other guys behind him.
His eyes were still beet red, and he had dark bags under his eyes.
Jack stepped onto the jetty and started walking towards us.
Cameron moved so that I was standing behind him.
I loved when he pushed me behind him, because it shows that he cares about me and that he doesn't want me to get hurt.
"What do you want?" Cameron asks, stepping closer to him.
I watch his knuckles clench, along with his jaw.
Jack was finally standing right in front of Cameron.
They mumbled back and forth between each other, but I couldn't make out what they were saying.
Jacks eyes made contact with mine, where he gave me a death glare.
All of the sudden, Jacks fist rose, and the next thing you knew, he punched Cameron in the face.
A loud gasp escaped my lips, as my hand rushed up to my mouth.
Cameron's head snapped back, and he yelped.
He fell to his knees, and cupped his face in his hands.
I quickly rushed over towards him, and put my hand on his back.
"Cameron! Are you okay?!" I ask.
He kept his hands on his face, as if he was crying. He didn't answer me.
I looked up at Jack in anger.
Jacks fists clenched, and he came closer to me.
I stepped back, and he stepped forward.
It was a continuous action, until my feet were at the edge of the boardwalk.
My breath hitched as I almost lost my balance.
I could feel jacks breath, breathing against me. He smelt like alcohol and cigarettes.
"Jack get away from her!" Cameron ordered from behind.
Jack didn't bother to listen to him.
The sound of running footsteps came closer and closer to us, and before anything else could happen, I was pushed into the water, along with Jack and Cameron.
Cold water surrounded my entire body, causing me to shiver.
I swam to the surface and popped my head out, taking in a large breath of air.
I turned around to see Jack and Cameron fighting in the water.
Jack was trying to push Cameron underneath the water, trying to suffocate him, but Cameron fought aggressively.
"Hey!" I scream at Jack.
I swim closer to them, and try to set Cameron free.
Jack nudged at me, trying to make me go away.
Cameron started hacking, as if he choked on water.
I didn't know what to do! The next thing you knew, I lifted my knee, and kneed Jack between his legs.
He let out an extraordinary cry, which echoed throughout the air.
Cameron quickly swam away, still coughing.
He grabbed my wrist, and pulled to shore.
He helped me up, onto the boardwalk, and then pulled himself up too.
His chest moved rapidly from his breathing, and so did mine.
"Are you okay?!" He asks, crouching down beside me.
I quickly nod my head.
"Are you hurt?" I shake my head.
"Are you sure?" He asks.
I nod once again. "I'm fine Cameron".
He pulls me up, so that I'm standing, and pulls us towards the sand.
We quickly gather our stuff, and hurry back home.
"What was that all about?" I ask, worriedly.
"Nothing". Cameron quickly blurts out.
"What do you mean nothing?!" I yell. "Jack almost drowned you, for no apparent reason! And he punched you! How can you say nothing?!"
"I said nothing okay!" Cameron yells. "Just mind your own fucking business, and leave me alone!"
He looks at me, with anger in his eyes, and runs his hands through his wet hair.
I stopped walking, and just stood there. Astonished that he just snapped at me.
He glares at me, before running off, towards his house.
Leaving me stranded alone, I just walked. I kicked the rocks and pebbles that laid in the way, with my head down.
I knew something was wrong.. Why wouldn't Cameron tell me?

FanfictionTurns out "I love you" was all just a game. [ the beginning of this story is very cheesy & cliché; a little cringy too, and it needs major editing! If some parts are messed up, it's due to my editing and I apologize]
