Avery

I froze in the spot, staring at him.

He stared at me too with a surprised look in his eyes.

People shoved me out of the way, making me loose balance.

Before I could completely fall, a pair of hands snuck around my waist and hoisted me up.

I look up to see Cameron hovering over me.

"Why'd you run away from me back there?" He questions, letting go of my waist.

I huddled closer to him, and turned back to Jack.

Cameron looks in the direction I was looking and immediately spots him.

"Cameron, he's going to hurt me". I whisper, so that only he could hear me.

Cameron let's out a little sigh. "Avery, you're still going off about this?" He huffs.

I glare at him in disbelief.

"Really Cameron?" I say, rolling my eyes.

"Oh hey Cameron". We hear a voice say.

Just hearing that voice made me get the chills.

We turn around and see Jack standing in front of us.

"What do you want?" Cameron spits, avoiding eye contact with him.

"Woah! What happened to you guys?!" Jack feigns surprise, as he looks at the two of us.

Don't act stupid Jack, I know what you tried to do.

"Oh shut the fuck up". I snap, stepping closer to him.

Jacks eyes widen and a smirk forms beneath his nose.

Challenge me, I dare you!

I felt Cameron grab my arm and yank on it.

I look at him.

"Stop it!" He orders through gritted teeth.

I roll my eyes at him and look back at Jack.

"You know what?" I ask, raising an eyebrow at him.

"You're just a giant dick!"

Cameron then aggressively pulls my arm and tried to drag me away, but I tired hard to stay in my spot.

I snatch my hand out of Cameron's grip and pushed Jack by his chest.

I let my crutches fall to the floor. Only the lower part of my leg was broken, so I didn't really need my crutches. I can walk perfectly fine.

Jack stumbles back in surprise.

He then looks at Cameron and sends him a glare.

Looking back at me, he takes a step closer, trying to make me flinch. But I don't.

If Cameron wasn't here right now, Jack would've probably smacked me or something.

Instead, he sends me an evil look and stomps away.

The hallway was now empty, leaving only me and Cameron.

As soon as Jack was out of sight, Cameron hardly grabs my arm.

"What the fuck is wrong with you?!" He spits, eyeing me.

I laugh. "Cameron stop it. If you're not going to help me, then you miles well just leave".

"What are you talking about?" He rudely asks.

I roll my eyes. "What I've been talking about for the past three fucking weeks!" I almost yell.

He stands back at my sudden yelling.

"Oh how Jack 'purposely' tried to kill you?" He says, using quotation marks as he says it.

I cross my arms. "Yes, dumbass".

His eyebrows narrow, as I'm making him angrier and angrier.

"He came into my room while I was sleeping, grabbed a pillow and tried to suffocate me!"

"It was a just nightmare!" Cameron protests.

"You don't know shit!" I yell back.

As another argument started brewing up, a teacher came out into the halls.

"Excuse me?" He says, catching both of our attention. "I'm trying to teach a class and your disrupting it!"

"Oh stfu". Cameron says back, sending him a pitiful glare.

"That's another detention for you Mr.Dallas!" He says.

"Do I look like I give a fuck?" Cameron fights back.

The teachers eyes widen, and he soon becomes mad.

He walks back into the classroom, and slams the door shut.

Cameron looks back at me.

As his eyes lay upon me, I could feel tears brimming in the corners of my eyes.

One manages to slip out, and slides down my cheek.

I pick up my crutches and begin to walk away.

"Avery!" Cameron desperately calls after me.

"Fuck you!" I yell, as I run into the bathroom.

Term one report cards come out this week and I'm scared af😂😅

All I've done this term was sleep and eat, hahaha #basic
