"So, tell me the details. And don't forget the juicy ones!" Zoe was shrieking happily in the canteen made us the center of attention in the cafeteria for about two minutes. We were on the line, waiting for our turn to be served. I picked up the gray tray and slid it in the metal railing of the display counter while Zoe kept on asking me about the details about meeting Gael's grandparents.

"Geez, Zoe! Can you lower your voice? And besides, there's nothing I could tell. Uhm, yeah, Caesar salad please, with Mojos and Pomelo juice for drink. Thank you." I said as I pointed to the canteen staff my order and smiled. I wasn't able to eat breakfast at home so I opted to eat first at the canteen before going to my class. Good thing Gael couldn't drive me at school or else I would surely be lectured about skipping meal, but what could I do? The qualifying tournament for Inter Junior Olympics will be held tomorrow morning and I couldn't bear to eat. I don't know what was happening to me, surely, I wasn't the type who easily get cold feet whenever a competition is approaching, but today was kind of different. There's something wrong, and I could feel it.

I handed the exact amount at the cashier and waited for Zoe as we sat at an empty table. It was just six thirty in the morning, and there weren't a lot of students loitering around.

"Oh, come on, Aiah! What happened to you two? Don't tell me you just played truth or dare because I won't buy it."

I laughed at what she said. What could I do? That's all we did, except for the kissing part. Of course, I wouldn't tell it to Zoe even if she's my best friend. I wasn't the kiss and tell type and she perfectly knew that. I saw Zoe threw her last card, she pouted to me and gently pulling my shirt.

"We just confessed to each other, and we were dating." I whispered to her.

"Oh my G! Shut up, Aiah! Is that for real? YOU AND GAEL ARE ALREADY DATING?!" Her voice echoed in the almost empty walls of the cafeteria, and to my horror, I didn't see that Ruby and her skanks were already inside. I wasn't afraid of Ruby, even a bit, I just don't want to create drama between us, knowing that I have a competition and she's my teammate tomorrow. I saw her neck twisted at my direction signalling that she heard what Zoe said. Her friend whispered something on her but she just raised her hand to make her stop from talking. I had never seen her so red... like a bull seeing a red flag.

She walked towards our table, with one corner of her mouth raised, taunting me, but I bet her teeth were gritted from anger she was trying to suppress. I was expecting her to say something, but I'm too hungry to argue, but it would be weird if I started eating knowing she'll be pulling my hair or throwing punches at me. Not that I would allow it.

"Wow. You should sign up for the Writer's Guild, I'm sure they can help you enhance your talent in imagining things, and who knows, you could write the sequel in Alice in Wonderland." Jealousy and pure hatred were in her voice, and because of her, my appetite was ruined. She better not messed up with the me when I'm hungry.
