We, the participants in the archery division, were lined up 20 meters away from our own targets are given three attempts to hit it. The pressure is on me because Ruby didn't meet the qualifying average to advance us on the semi-finals round. I couldn't blame her though since we thought that it would be a school against school kind of match-up not the indoor type setting of archery.

I need to double up the points if I wanted us to compete for the next round or else, we'll be eliminated as early as now.

Just one more attempt.

I let out a deep sigh before releasing my fingers in aiming for the target. My last attempt. It happened way too fast, before I knew it, Gael is hugging me tightly, saying I made it to the next round.

"Babe. You are amazing." He whispered against my ear which really made me happy. I looked around and saw my parents looking oh so proud at me, except my dad trying his very best not to frown seeing how Gael hugged me.

Zoe kissed both of my parents on their cheeks before turning to me and giving me the tightest embrace I could ever received. Mac messed with my hair and kissed me on the head while Emmett, on his usual self, patted my back and mouthed "Congratulations" to me.

Coach Marshall and Scott tried to make their way towards me; to congratulate me since I was encircled with so many people.

"Hey guys, did you know that this is just an ellimination game, right? There's still the semi-finals round. I can still lose you know." I'm laughing yet my heart feels as if it'll burst with so much love for this people.

"It doesn't matter. Don't you see how all of us adore you? You're great." Gael held my hand and threw me his signature smile that can make me swoon all over him.

"You're great, Aiah. Imagine how you aim for Gael's heart? Target locked, bull's eye." How I love Mac's humor, because he never fails to make me laugh on Gael's expense.

"Thank you so much guys! So, on to the next match: Gael's!" I excitedly pinched both Gael's cheeks.

"What will be my reward if I win it, babe?" Gael sexily whispered in my air earning him a smack on the head from me.

I was waiting for Gael outside the men's changing room when a stranger suddenly approached me.

"Aiah? Is it really you?" The man on his spandex swimming trunks with a towel on his arms said as he approached me.

I gazed at him and a smile slowly formed on my lips.

"Ram! Oh my! How are you?" I was really happy when I saw him, since he's a very good friend of mine.

Okay, that was a little bit shallow explanation. He used to like me back when I was still at my previous school and we were really good friends. I thought that I should give him a chance since I knew how caring and good man he is, so we sort of dated for a while, but the magic wasn't just there so we ended it up in a we-will-be-always-friends way.

"I'm playing for the school. How about you? Where are you studying now? Are you here because of the games?" I laughed on how he asked me blow by blow.

"Hey, easy with the questions, buddy. I'm currently studying here, and yes, I'm still playing archery and we just won for our trip to semis earlier. Is Kayla here with you, too? How about the gang?" Seeing Ram made me really missed my former classmates a lot.
