Aiah's POV

I couldn't believe it, it's like yesterday we're sworn enemies and now he's my boyfriend. It's as if the universe was toying me. A week passed since Zoe came back at school, I don't know whether I'll tell her what happened between me and Gael. It's just too sudden. Thankfully, Gael wasn't at school, he's busy training swimming at the school's affiliated resort. We sent messages at each other from time to time, and each message made me missed him more.

PoseiDEAD: We can play any game you want except hide and seek.

Aiah: Y?

PoseiDEAD: Because a girl like you is hard to find.

I smiled at my phone. So, he wanted to play, huh?

Aiah: Aren't you tired?

PoseiDEAD: Why?

Aiah: I thought u're tired because u're running in my mind 24/7.

PoseiDEAD: You miss me. LOL. Coach is here. I'll text u later. Missing u too.

The last phrase made my cheeks red, and before I can take control of myself, a smile appeared on my lips.

"Hey, you're smiling at your phone again." She slightly budged my elbow.

We were at the canteen, I'm sending a message to Gael while Zoe's eating her salad.

I hesitated for a while whether I'll tell her or not.

"I have to tell you something." I should tell her about me and Gael. Now or never.

"Okay, but hear me first. Josh and I are together again." She excitedly exclaimed.

"What?!" I shrieked at the thought of her and Josh again.

"Let me explain first, okay? I'm really touched at Josh when he followed me to Canada just to be with me. Or at least comfort me when Nana passed away."

"Are you nuts? You told me not to come with you since I need a lot of catching up to do here at school! I came here because of you, Zoe!"

I was really upset at her. She already experienced the hurt and betrayal when she was with Josh, why would she have to choose him again?

"I'm really sorry, Aiah. It's just that I love him, and I want to be with him again. You just haven't fallen in love yet."

"Really, Zoe? Don't you remember how badly hurt you are when he cheated?"

"It's my fault, Aiah. I should've taken care of him more."

"That's bullshit, Zoe! Is he a handicapped puppy? Are you foolish enough to be lured again? He won't change Zoe, not for you."
