Dear Body
I find you beautiful
Your curves, your shape
But... You can't accept it
You can't accept yourself as a part of me
You don't care for my thoughts
My personality
My soul
You scream, fight, kill
The only thing you find beautiful is everyone else.
You're afraid of your scars.
And you don't bother to heal.
You want to embarrass me.
Because all you look at is your appearance.
You've stopped me from everything
You prevented my eating habits.
My culture has been shattered.
You affected my mental health.
You've altered my mirrors.
You've made my clothes feel so tight.
So dear body.
Please accept me.
Because really...
I'm not that fat.
