I was going crazy, i end up in the woods; not knowing how i got there, and some voice is speaking to me. i have seen movies like this before, and it doesn't end well. i had realized that the voice had stopped, making me sigh i relief.

I had finally arrived at the airport were Hunter was, he had come here from new york to stay with us for a week, he had said he always wanted to see Alaska, and of course meet a girl. i had hopped out of my car that had blended in with the snow, and walked up to the airport doors.

I quickly looked around for hunter, not wanting to be late for lunch at home. i had spotted him walk out of the plane a ran to him, "hello Hunter miss me?" i said. "yes, very much, are you going to show me around the city?" "no, my mother is cooking us some lunch so maybe tomorrow." "but i have a party to go to." "well, ill show you the town after we eat." "OK fine."

Hunter always like to party all day every day. you barley even see him, its like he disappears in mid air. its impossible to track his every move. i helped him with his bags and carried them to my car and put them in the trunk.

We drove off to my house and arrived there not to late. Hunter and I got the bags and carried them into the house. my mother walked in the living room, "Hunter I'm so glad to see you." "hello Olivia I'm glad to see you too." he replied back. "hey mom." I said." "hello Freya, lunch is on the table if you are ready?" "I could go for a whole 2 meals, i haven't eaten in 3 hours." hunter said in a hungrily tone.

Hunter put his bags in the room i showed him that he would be staying in. then we all went to the dining room to eat."this is amazing." Hunter said and began to eat the lunch. "guess what Olivia?" Hunter said breaking the silence. "I'm a bad guesser." my mother replied back." "well then I'm going to tell you anyways, i found something." "and what is this something?" my mother asked. "so i was in the woods hiking and i saw a wolf."

"OK what does that matter?" i said. "it matters to me." "OK so you found a wolf, like no one has seen them before, its not such a big deal." "you didn't let me finish, that wasn't any kind of wolf, it shifted." "shifted like how." my mother said. "i hid behind the tree hoping it didn't See me, luckily it did, it shifted into a human, a girl human in fact, and she was naked."

"Maybe you saw something and it was just you imagination." my mother said. i put down my fork and spoon on my plate and said, "i lost my appetite." and walked into my room. i rested my head on my pillow and fell into a deep sleep.

~the dream~

I was in the woods with a white dress on, my face caressing the cold and soft snow. i got up from where i was resting relieved that i was safe, but i wasn't. i heard a couple of howling in the distance, my head and ears following the owner of the howl then it has stopped. i heard a few foot steps coming towards me quietly from behind. i turned my head, and there stood a beautiful brown wolf, our eyes meat, then the whole world stopped moving it was just me and the wolf together.

Then the wolf moved towards me gently to let me know it meant no harm, it had bowed its head to me and rested its head on my lap. i petted it gently with a smile on my face, snow began to come down from the sky. i look up to the sky to know how beautiful it looked.

Out of know where there came people from out of the snow covered bushes, they where as pale as the snow, there fangs sharp, ready to attack. the wolf lifted its head up and stood in front of me, trying to protect me. the wolf growled and then it let out a alarmed howl. then there were growls coming from everywhere, the inhuman peoples expression had changed in the matter of seconds, frighted.

They had quickly ran, then the wolf turned to me, its eyes wanting me to know that it would never hurt me and would protect me fore the rest of my days. it was odd i wasn't frightened at all, i was actually quite glad that it was here.

No one had been more kind than the wolf that had helped my, it walked up to me and began to lick my face. i petted it once more, knowing i must leave and i would be there with it always, "i will come visit you more often i hope." i had said to the wolf. "it nodded and left to the woods, but looking back at me. i waved good bye. and looked up at the sky once more, the sky that is calming to me.

I would have to say Goodbye to the Vanilla Sky.
