I put on the uniform nervously and tied up the golden tie on my neck. I looked at the jacket. Should I be wearing this? I wondered. It was warm outside. I wore it anyways. I braided my long red hair into two and let it loose on my shoulder and adjusted my glasses on my eyes.

These people were no ordinary people. I put on my black shoes and white socks and picked up the book that the school had given me. I had to do this!! For lisa's sake! I tried to convince myself.

I put the book in my suitcase along with all my other belongings and headed downstairs. It was extremely hard work to carry the heavy suitcase downstairs. I was sweating when I was done.

Within few minutes there was a knock on the door. I walked towards the door hesitantly and opened it to see tall two men who were both wearing the exact same black suit with tie and black sun glasses with black hats on top of their heads.

"We have come to receive you Zoe Ayame." Another man stepped in from between the two men and walked towards me. He wore a large hood and was covered from head to toe. Only his hands were visible from the big black umbrella he held above his head. "I am Richter Madreas" he introduced himself.

"Do people even use those when there is no rain?" I asked pointing at the umbrella.

The man snickered. "It's just in case it might rain" the man smiled and he raised his head. I gasped. His hair was pure white and his eyes were crimson red.

"Whats with the get up? Is this a school or a costume party?" I asked as the two men moved my suitcase into a bright black limousine which I had failed to notice before. WOW! Was this school super rich or something? "You have too many questions Ayame. For someone who's in this position of being almost blackmailed into going to school." Richter replied opening the door for me.

Here I was trying my best to keep calm and composed and show no fear but that just made me burst out all my questions at him.

"You know where Lissa is??? Where is she??? Is she safe??" I asked almost too loudly.

Richter stepped into the seat next to me and put a finger across his lips and motioned for me to stay silent.

I groaned clenching my teeth but I knew I was in no position to pick a fight.

"So tell me a bit about yourself Ayame!" Richter mentioned.

It was all dark inside the limousine since the windows were covered in black as if to stop any light from coming in.

"Firstly, it's just Zoe! Secondly, you must already know every single information about myself" I folded my arms in front of my chest and stared at Richter in the eyes.

"Impressive! You are right Zoe I just wanted to know it from your point of view!" Richter placed him chin on his hands and grinned at me.

"Iam only answerable to the headmaster of whatever school you are taking me to"

I remained silent. I was not going to let these strange people know any information on me.

"I am the school's headmaster" Richter said which drove my attention back to him. "You are lying to get the info out of me. The headmaster to be around your age?? You look like you are around 20" I scoffed.

"our kind do not age. I am the headmaster" He said showing me his card

"Then I have a lot of questions to ask you" I said trying to control my anger.

"I won't be answering ALL of your questions." Richter took a deep breath.

"your friend Lissa is safe. Once you enter the gates she will be set free. We have done no harm to her and she won't remember anything about the events that happened after we captured her." He said.

That was a relief. I smiled. If Lissa was set free she would surely try to find help and save me from this.

"Your wrong!" Richter smiled again.

I looked up at him shocked.

Did he just read my mind?

"She won't remember a thing about you either" Richter leaned forward and whispered in my ear.

I gasped.

Who was these people??

"I shall answer that too Zoe.!" Richter seemed to be enjoying my shocked expression.

"we are Vampires"

I shook my head and blinked. Did I hear right?

"yes you did" Richter replied.

"Stop reading my mind. I don't know how you are doing that but Vampires? Seriously? You're kidding me right? You expect me to believe in that lame excuse??They only exist in stories and movies" I almost laughed.

"then explain why my hair is of this color. Normal humans won't have this color in their eyes either" Richter's eyes looked challenging.

"Because... because your albino!" I muttered. I suddenly felt scared. What if what he's been telling is true? So far everything that had been happening had been pros to his argument of vampires. Lissa being captured without any peep or proof and the mysterious letter and how we couldn't find ST Valdimirs school when we surfed the internet.

My thoughts were broken as Richter started laughing. He looked like as if he was holding himself back from laughing. "Interesting! you keep on getting more and more interesting. But dear Zoe ...you are also one" Richter said to me.

"I'm a what?" I asked.

"A vampire just like me. That's the only reason you were invited to this school. You see, vampires are not allowed to live among human beings." Richter said.

It was my turn to laugh. "me a vampire??? Sorry but you are mistaken" I said wiping off tears form my eyes.

"then how do you explain the incident form 12 years ago?" Richter replied with a smile.

That took me by surprise as I froze my eyes wide. Slowly I looked at Richter.

"How... How do you know about that?" I asked in a shaky voice. No one except me and Lissa knew about my parent's death. It was long forgotten.

"You will be getting all your answers in St valdmirs" Richter said leaning back on his seat.
