A/N: Hey Guys! Before you read this chapter here's a little blurb from me.
First off, i'm sorry it has been almost a whole year since an update and for those of you who have stuck by this book thank you so much it truly means the world. Above this chapter is a picture of our new "guy from the bar" Jonathan Brooks, played by Dylan O'Brien, because you know I just had to. I know what you're thinking "how can you introduce a new main character 17 chapters into this book."

I asked myself that very same question.

Anyways I hope you guys enjoy.

Were we left off- We meet guy from the bar again only this time we learn his full name, as he offers to walk Ashley to school, ASHLEY IS STARTING HER VERY FIRST DAY THE MOMENT YOU HAVE ALL BEEN WAITING FOR!! Ashley, Sam, and Seth are no longer on speaking terms with Ashton, and Amber is busy flirting with Seth. Alrighty that's it let's get right into it!

--------*--------

I hadn't expected this morning to well you know, be decent, but as it turns out, my morning wasn't all that bad.

Give it time though, it was only 8:00 am.

I immediately regretted my outfit choice.

Despite the hot mid September weather brewing outside, the air conditioning in this god forsaken school was set to a full blast.

This was at least a slim improvement from my high school in Canada, that couldn't even afford lined paper.

As I walked through the halls, with Jonathan by my side, I could basically feel the blaring stares I was receiving.

All the hyper-active teens returning to this hell whole after a long summer's vacation, to see the same kids they had chorused with since pre-k, but a new face?

That was unheard of.

Yet, here I was, and I stuck out like a sore thumb.

Practically the only girl on the entire premise not sporting the new Louis Vuitton bag, or the new Steve Madden sandals.

But i did happen to be walking side by side with a rather attractive boy who was operating as my personal tour guide I might add.

"You lost yet?"

John laughed, although I have to admit it was rather troubling concentrating around someone with as strikingly blue eyes as his.

"This place is huge."

Chesterfield was definitely not your typical high school.

White pillars connected the title floors and ceilings, and grey lockers lined the walls of the school every which way you turned.

There were plenty of glass windows, so that distinguished this school from a prison for sure.

"Ah"

Jonathan paused in his tracks, causing me to jolt and come to a full stop at his side.

He was looking at my hand printed crumpled up schedule that had been sitting in my closet for months until being dug up this very morning, along with pretty much everything else in my room.

"AP Lit, room D170, with Mr. Benson."

He smirked, laughing to himself, as if there was this big secret he was not telling me.

"What?"

I laughed shoving his arm a little, this action surprised me, but given his reaction seemed like he was kinda maybe okay with it, I went with the flow.
