I don't think i've ever inhaled an amount of food as fast as I did that ham sandwhich, Amber had given me.
No seriously, I must of scarffed that thing down within a good minute or so. It also occured to me while walking down the hallway half listening to Amber and Ashton's relentless bickering, that this is the most social activity with someone other then my siblings and Anna i've had in about three years.
I'm serious I was like a walking Anne Frank, that was engrossed in a bookcase for the shell life of her childhood and teen years, and scribbled everything about in a diary, which ultimately resulted in a lot of talking to herself,
Alright so probablly not the best example.
Ashton and Amber were going on and on about how there mother gave them money to share for the weekend and Ashton had used it all on his new pair of sneakers.
"Um where is your mom?"
I interupted their conflict realizing that if their mom gave them a large amount of money for the weekend she must not have been home.
"Well, her and my dad are on some business trip in Cabo and won't be back until Tuesday night, so my mom gave Ashton and I money to SHARE but he decided it was an incredibly good idea to go buy himself a pair of cleats instead of saving the money for grocery shopping and resteraunts."
Amber stated rolling her eyes in her brother's direction and exaggerating the word share to prove her point.
"Well AMBER isn't telling you the full story about how she decided to take 50 dollars to buy herself a pair of chanel socks."
Ashton stated grimacing in Amber's direction.
Chanel socks? I didn't even know they made those, and 50 bucks for a pair of socks? Mom normally buys mine from the Dollar Tree across from the Seven Eleven, these kids must have been rich.
"My feet were cold!"
Amber stampered.
"Well now we're flat broke until Tuesday you moron."
Ashton retaliated.
"You guys are welcome to have dinner with my family tomorrow night!"
I exclaimed not really comprehending the situation fully.
If Amber and Ashton were to have dinner with us I would have to fight the urge to vomit every time Ashton and Sam flirted across the dinner table, and i'm sure Amber would try and talk to me about some rich fancy designer brands that I had no idea about, while I sunk down in my chair trying to escape everyone around me, but as usual my mouth just spit out things uncontrollably like a sprinkler.
Ashton looked to Amber, and a huge smile played across her face like she was plotting an evil scheme of some sort.
"We'd love to!"
Amber exclaimed, pressing the button for the elevator as the metal door swung open and we all stepped inside.
Great. Now not only was I meeting my new neighbors for the first time who I acted more then awkward around, but I was also having dinner with them tomorrow night, and I had almost forgotten that Ashton was taking me to Amber's dance studio for the first time, and I couldn't dance how terrific.
I sent Seth a quick
I-need-you-and-I-need-you-now text, telling him that I had just invited Amber and Ashton over for dinner tomorrow, and as I looked next to me Ashton had his hands burried in his pockets, and head down staring at the tiled floor like I had done earlier, and Amber was typing away on her Iphone's touch keyboard, like her fingers were in a triathlon.
"I cannot even believe that Justina is having a party and did not think
to invite me! I mean so what I totally ratted her out for cheating on her boyfriend to the whole dance team, when I see her tonight at dance that bitch is so going down!"
