My eyes fluttered open to an unfamiliar room.
It couldn't be my bathroom.
The walls were different, the floor was different, there was a unfamiliar feeling that filled the room.
The walls were painted a stellar white and in the corner sat a tiny wooden rocking chair.
My body shot up out of the bed I was lying on and I was horrified when I realized the room was a hospital room.
A small petite blonde figure was seated in a rocking chair beside my hospital bed.
She sprung up at my appearance.
"Ashley? Oh my god! You scared us half to death!"
Amber exclamied.
She lept over towards my body seated at the edge of the hospital bed, and threw her frail arms around my neck wrapping me into an overwhelming hug.
Suddenly my head oozed with pain, causing me to groan in agony.
The throbbing came and went shooting through my eyelids and ending at the bridge of my nose.
"What happened?"
I groaned rubbing the back of my head with the palm of my right hand after Amber let go of our over-endearing hug.
"You fainted! In the bathroom! You locked yourself in that damn bathroom and we heard a loud bang all the way in the dining room! So, my brother tried to knock on the door to see if you were alright, but it was locked so he had to knock the damn door down, and he saw you lying on the floor so, here we are!"
Amber stated all too enthusiastically.
"P.S. We thought you were dead!"
Amber laughed.
She somehow always found an inappropriate way to act throughout any situation.
"Wait but me and Ashton,"
I stopped myself before I said too much information that I would probably soon regret.
"Weren't Ashton and I talking in the bathroom?"
I questioned Amber more then confused.
Ashton had just told me that he wanted to be with me, we kissed.
This didn't make any sort of sense.
Unless, it never even happened.
If it were a simple figment of my imagination and the whole thing was just a dream I had after fainting in that bathroom.
Bile began rising in my throat, and I couldn't tell if it was the surreal ness of the situation tearing at my nerves, or if I was coming down with something.
"I don't know how much talking you possibly could have done while you layed unconscious on the floor!"
Amber laughed.
Suddenly it was rising closer, the malted like lava in my throat was threatening to escape through my mouth and my stomach quivered.
"I think i'm gonna be sick."
The words escaped my throat faster then ever and before I could get out of bed and run for the porcelin thrown known as the toilet, the contents of my stomach spilled all over Amber's dress.
Remeber when I said this diner party could not have gone any worse?
I lied.
Right now I was certainly feeling it, and so was Amber's dress.
