As Claire lay on the bed alone, Myrnin in the next room preparing coffee for them both, after they had their fun, she felt her phone buzz beside her. She rolled over quickly and grabbed the phone, then grabbed her head in her hands to try and stop her vision from spinning. I really have to get used to this, she thought to herself.

Whilst her vision returned to normal, her phone was spamming with messages. She glided her finger across the phone screen to unlock it, and opened the messages. To her surprise, they were all from Shane. Of all people, she didn't expect that.

"What the hell, Claire?! Why did you tell Michael bullshit about me and Eve cheating on you both? Are you really that deluded? Where are you? It's been days since I've seen you. I miss you.'

Claire rolled her eyes at the message. He didn't miss her at all. He and Eve did cheat on her and Michael. Why was he trying to lie to her? She knew what she saw, and knew what she had to do.

Her fingers tapped rapidly on the phone screen, typing up her furious reply to her now ex-boyfriend.

"Are you serious, Shane?! Don't you dare try to lie to me. Myrnin opened the portal to the house from his lab. He showed me you and Eve kissing in the living room. Don't you dare try to lie to me. It's too late for that. P.s if you "missed" me that much, you would have called me days ago, when you didn't have your tongue down Eve's throat!!! We're done. Leave me alone, I don't want to know you anymore."

With her head full of rage, she hit send and tossed the phone onto the chair next to her. A moment later, her phone buzzed again.

"Baby, he's doing that to mess with your head. Come home, I need you. I love you."

Claire felt her eyes burn with anger. Her whole body was tense, like she was made of steel. In the heat on the moment, she was about to tell him about Myrnin turning her into a vampire, but she had a better idea. One much more devious.

Instead, she closed the message from Shane, and opened the messages from Michael. She grinned as she sent him a message reading "Michael, how much do you love revenge?" with a little devil emoji.

"Myrnin!" she called from the bedroom. Myrnin popped his head through the space where the door was open, his facial expression was puzzled, and gave her a confused, questioning look. Claire was still grinning, which made Myrnin break out a grin too. "Forget the coffee, I have a better idea. Lets go."

Entering through the front doors to the Glass House was too "normal", Claire decided.  She looked over her shoulder at Myrnin, who brought his head up slightly so she could see his eyes just under the large black hat that was flopping over them. He grinned to her, and she grinned back. "Back way. Let's go."

They both hurried towards the back of the house, they stood in the shaded corner whilst Claire sent Michael a quick text message, "Round back, come now." she hit send, which was stupid really, because as she looked up, Michael was already there. Vampire senses. Cool.

The three of them huddled in and discussed their plan of action, once each party was familiar with their positions, they went in.

The kitchen was noticeably absent from any life form, apart from one potted plant sitting in the window, soaking up the sun, maybe a little too much as the ends of each pink pasty petal was starting to shrivel up slightly. It would probably last only a few more hours, no matter how much it was nurtured.

Shaking that from her mind, Claire motioned the others towards the door that lead to the living room. Claire's ears detected that the living room was empty also, but the room right above them wasn't. Claire glanced to Michael and Myrnin, who exchanged a look between the three of them. They also knew where they were.
