'Cause being here without you,
is like I'm waking up to,
Only half a blue sky, Kinda there, but not quite.
I'm walkin' round with just one shoe,
I'm half a heart without you.
----------------------------------------------------
Myrnin POV:
She needs to know, I told myself.
The poor girl needs to know. She needs to know everything. So why do I feel like I cannot tell her?
I care for Claire...I really do. But dispite the situation, I would never want to hurt little Claire.
She needs to know.

Claire POV:
A short stop at Common Grounds was perfect at 7am. At least, It was for the mood that Claire was in. But she didn't think her mood would inprove when she'd see Oliver's face. The way his eyes scanned the room with that hungry, wild look in his eyes.
The only thing that would give her mood any change on improvment, was ordering a mocha and drowning her saddness in it. Or punching Oliver in the face, but as if she would ever get that close to him in the first place. Bad idea to even appempt.
Claire ordered her mocha and within 30 seconds, it was infront of her. Fresh and steeming as it sat on the counter top. She looked up to see Oliver stood there with a smile on his face. If you could even count it as that.
"Claire," he spoke civily to her, "What brings you here for early? Can't stay away from me?" then his 'smile' turned into a grin.
"Just take me money and I'll be on my way out the door faster than any vampire in this town. Seriously, Oliver. I'm not in the mood for games today. Especially not from you." she finished, the last word coming out more bitter than she'd ever expect to talk to someone who was a vampire. More importantly, to Oliver.
Did she have a deathwish or something?
Oliver's eyebrows came down slightly frowning, but he said nothing.
"I'm sorry. My head's just not fully together today." she said, feeling more guilty about her attitude. Even though Oliver was probably the most badass vampire in Morganville, next to Amelie, of course,, and had the worst attitude to humans more than anyone else, she couldn't help but feeling sorry for a little bit of attitude. Mainly because Oliver hadn't done anything drastic to her today. Yet.
"That's okay, Claire. Go on, enjoy your drink, and cheer up for god sake. Stop moping for once." he said with a straight face. She heard a little tention in his voice too. Oliver would never let anyone talk to him like that, even with an apology afterwards. But he didn't say anything else as she turned to leave. He didn't even move. He just...watched her exit.
Feeling a little more annoyed than when she left the Glass house this morning, Claire sipped some of her mocha and instantly, a little bit of her bad mood, more like curiosity, faded away a little. She couldn't get the sounds from this morning out of her head, and the endless supply of questions that followed.
Who? Who was is? Why? Why at that time in a morning? by 7.15am, Claire had already reached the enterance of the narrow alleyway next to Grandma Day's house, an exact mirror of the Glass house, where she lived, that led to Myrnin's lab.
