Claire's P.O.V

Half an hour until full sunrise. The beams of light were already on their way, slowly preparing to shower the town of Morganville in glorious beauty.

At this point, Myrnin and Claire had moved from the shallow depth of the lake, to underneath one of the large trees, just before the stone path that was their exit. They had been sat there for hours, just talking about everything. Like Shane and how wrong Claire was for ever falling in love with him. She had been told by several people before that he was basically awful in a relationship.

But now, that didn't matter to Claire. She had found someone who would never dream of purposely hurting her. Ever.

Myrnin was sat against the tree, with Claire sat with her back against him, between his legs and her head resting on his chest. She had fallen asleep a few hours ago. Just as they were talking about nothing that mattered anymore. Myrnin bent his head to rest it on her shoulder, and kissed her neck carefully. Claire made a muffled sound of approval, still asleep in his arms.

"Claire?" he whispered into her ear softly, "Are you awake?"

"I am now," she said, muffled by the sound of her drowsiness. "what time is it?" she said as she turned her head towards him an yawned.

"Half an hour until sunrise, my beauty." that was, Claire thought, one of the cutest things Myrnin had ever called her. My beauty. She replayed that in her head about 5 times, before smiling up at him.

"That's cute. We should make a move. I don't know about you, but I don't want you starting to frazzle when that sun comes over the horizon." she said sleepily.

"Alrighty then. Hold on one second," he said, and suddenly, she was scooped up in his arms and they were traveling at super-vampire-speed. Oh, the joys.

When they had stopped, they were at Common Grounds. Weird. Apparently, Oliver had gone 'open 24 hours' now, but she supposed that was kind of a good thing. Considering the situation she was in now. They walked through the door, hand-in-hand, and Claire thought about how special that made her feel. Myrnin wasn't ashamed to go public with her. He wanted to show her off, and that was heart-warmingly sweet, and it felt so good knowing he was that serious.

"Mocha and plain coffee please, Ollykins." Myrnin said with a smirk on his face. Oliver returned the smirk, but without any smart comment. The put the drinks down with a thud, and smiled at the two of them.

"Ah, little Claire," oh God. Now it was time for his smart comment. "I'm surprised you're still breathing. I would have thought this fool would have killed you by-" he stopped suddenly, looking down at their clasped hands. "Oh...I-well." he said, obviously caught off guard. He jerked his head back slightly and said "Enjoy your drinks. You know where the door is." he turned his back and started wiping down the espresso machine.

She looked up at Myrnin and smiled, trying her best not to burst out laughing, and Myrnin was doing the same. They walked out of the door, and before it had even fully closed behind them, they both burst out into hysterics.

"Ollykins?" Seriously, Myrnin!" she laughed, unable to control herself.

"Don't blame me..did you not see his face when he realized us." Now that, she thought, was the cutest thing he had said. Pointing out that they were officially an item. Claire couldn't help but smile at that comment.

"Okay, okay..I admit...that has to be the funniest trip to Common Grounds ever!" He looked up at him and her smile beamed. He returned the smile, following with a quick light kiss on the lips. "Ollykins?" she giggled to him. "Where did you even get that from?"
