When I made it to my homeroom class, I found myself sitting next to the dark-headed bearded kid and another one of his friends. He had brown hair and bright blue eyes.

I looked over at the dark-headed kid's tattoos again and he just glared at me. I noticed one behind his ear. "Is that MxPx?!" I exclaimed, leaning closer to him. He looked surprised.

"Y-yeah.. You know them?"

"I love them!" I said.

"Cool! Sorry I was being a dick. I'm Jeremy. You must be new if you're anywhere near me."

I offered a hand, then shook his hand and gave him a confused look. "I'm Benjamin."

"I'm not the most popular kid in town.."

"Jer, you have three friends," the kid in front of him said, turning to look at him.

"Four! Be quiet, Kevin."

"Who said I was your friend, hm?"

"Shut up!" Jeremy threw his pencil at him.

"Are you two dating?" I asked.

"Huh?" Jeremy looked up.

"No! I'm not gay! And if I were, I certainly wouldn't date this douchebag."

"I'm not a douchebag, douchebag!" Jeremy hissed. I smiled a bit. "Anyway, where did you say you were from?"

"I'm from Texas." I noticed how when I asked if him and Kevin were dating, Kevin had said that he wasn't gay, but Jeremy hadn't said anything.

"Oh. That's why you sound like a cowboy," Kevin said. I stared at him.

"He's kidding," Jeremy said.

"It's fine. I probably do sound funny, considering y'all sound funny to me."

"Y'all," Kevin scoffed. I sighed a bit.

"Y'all say 'y'all' too," I said.

"Don't mind him. He's such a butt-hurt coc-"

"Jeremy, shut up." Jeremy sat back in his chair.

"I-it's fine.." I said.

"So uh-" Jeremy began.

"Jeremy, be quiet, my head hurts!" Kevin shouted. Jeremy blinked and squirmed in his seat slightly.

I walked into my first period class, which was geometry. I saw the kid with green eyes from the bus stop in the back of the room. He doesn't like me, but maybe if I compliment his tattoos like I did with Jeremy..

I walked up and noticed his knuckles had k182 on them. "What do your knuckles say?" I asked. He looked at me cautiously. He looked to his hands before putting them together and showing me. Blink182. "You like Blink?!" I asked, sitting down next to him.

He nodded a bit. "Heeyy- oh! Hi, Benjamin," Jeremy said. I smiled a bit.

"You know him?" the kid with green eyes asked.

"Yeah. Benjamin, this is Neil, and Neil this is Benjamin."

"Hi," Neil said shyly, giving a soft smile. Jeremy sat down in front of Neil at the table. "Jer, stop kicking!" Neil said quietly.

"Don't be shy, Ben's cool."

"Don't call me Ben," I said. Jeremy looked at me.
