"You kids have fun?" his dad asked.

"Dad!" Jeremy whined.

"Son, you can't even sit down, can you?"

"N-no.." Jeremy said quietly. His dad bursted into a fit of laugher.

"Jeremy!" his dad laughed.

"I..." Jeremy blushed and turned around to walk off.

"Jeremy, come back!" I said, grabbing his shoulder.

He turned back to me and sighed. "It's okay, Jeremy. You know I'm an open person. When I gave you the talk, what did I tell you?"

"You told me about you and Mom fuckin and I got weirded out."

"Yeah." He laughed a bit. "Sorry about that, still."

"Yeah.. It's fine. It only haunts my nightmares."

"All I'm saying is there's no reason to be embarrassed," his dad said, shrugging and getting up to walk off.

"Where's Neil?" I asked.

"In the basement!" his dad called.

-

We trudged into school an hour late. We all went to our classes and snuck in.

Lunch finally came by and I met up with Jeremy. He tried to hold my hand, but I batted him away. "No PDA. I'm not getting in trouble," I said. He rolled his eyes.

"Fine."

"How's your day?"

"It's okay.." he said. "Are you hungry?"

"Not really," I admitted.

"Me neither," he said. "Will you split a tray with me though?" he asked. I nodded and pushed him away. He went to get a tray.

"Hey," Kaleb said, sitting in front of me. I blinked at him.

"Hi," I said.

"Soo.. You fucked with him lately?" Kaleb asked.

"Uhh... I guess," I said. He smirked.

"Y'all get rough?" he asked.

"Kaleb, this is making me uncomfortable.." I said. He rolled his eyes.

"Okay. Well, I'll see you in art," he said, walking off.

Jeremy sat next to me and watched him walk off. "What was that about?" he asked.

"I dunno. He asked if we get rough during sex and I told him to stop," I said. Jeremy chuckled.

-

"Hey, Eric.. Hey, Ribcage," Kevin said. Jeremy scowled. Usually, the "ribcage" comments didn't affect him, but considering that mornings events, I understood.

"My name still isn't Eric," I said. The bell rang and the teacher came in. I slipped Jeremy my homework and he copied it.

After class, Jeremy and I headed for the buses. We got on and went to our seat. Neil followed and sat next to us.

"Can I come over again?" Neil asked. Jeremy nodded.

"Yeah. My dad doesn't care," he said, slipping his hand in mine.

"Okay, cool."

We got home and headed into the basement. We all fell onto the couch and Jeremy and I cuddled up.

"Neil.. Do you think I'm cute?" Jeremy asked all of a sudden.

"Uhhh.. I don't think your boyfriend would appreciate my answer."

"Nah, go ahead and boost his self esteem," I said.

"You're adorable, Jeremy," Neil said.

"Thanks," he said, smiling, leaning against me. I rested my hand on his thigh and sighed happily.

"Jeremy? Where did that come from?" I asked.

"I dunno. Sometimes I feel fugly," he said. I gripped his thigh.

"Oh, you're so beautiful, baby.." I said quietly. He smiled and giggled.

"I love you," he said.

"I love you, too."

"I love you, too!" Neil whined, leaning against Jeremy. Jeremy laughed.

"Come here, Neil," Jeremy said, putting his arm around Neil's shoulders and inviting him to our semi-cuddle.

"Do y'all cuddle all the time?" he asked.

"Duh," I said, resting a hand on Jeremy's stomach.

"You have really nice eyelashes," Neil said, looking into Jeremy's eyes. I hit him on the forehead.

"Stop gazing at him."

"What?" Neil asked.

"Stop doing that," I said. Jeremy laughed softly.

"Don't get all mad! He's just making me feel good," Jeremy said, nuzzling against me. "I luuuu-v you."

"I love you too," I said. He purred like a cat. "Stop that!" I laughed. He frowned and nodded.

-

"No, no, no, no, no," Jeremy complained. I pulled him out of the bathroom.

"Neil, help me!" I called. Jeremy shushed me.

"No!" he hissed. I grabbed him by the armpits and started dragging him out.

Neil came in and walked over. "What's going on? Jeremy?"

"He can't see me like this!" he yelled. He started kicking and screaming.

Neil tried to grab on to him, but Jeremy kicked him in the crotch. "Dude! Too far!" I yelled as Neil fell to the floor. "Jeremy, stop fighting!"

"Jeremy..." Neil said, holding his legs down.

"No!" Jeremy yelled, pulling his foot free and kicking him in the nose. I went over and sat on Jeremy's lap.

"Stop.. Baby, listen to me," I said. He started crying hysterically. I held his wrists down against the floor and he started wriggling.

He screamed in between his cries.

I turned my head and looked back at Neil, who had a bloody nose. We had a mutual scared look on our faces.
