Emily
"And the one and only, Emily Fields!" The host of the show, Jeb, exclaimed as the curtains spread apart to reveal me. I waved at the huge crowd which they responded with screams. If you're wondering what the hell was my job, I was a singer/dancer. Of course my badass persona wasn't gone. I still wore snapbacks, I'm still the gang leader.
But I wasn't a jerk. I was just me. I sat down across the seat that Jeb was sitting, he had a big smile on his face. He lent me a microphone that had a tiny drawing of a snapback at the back with a signature on it. An autographed microphone? That I signed? I don't remember that, "Oh, and, you didn't sign that." I looked at the writing again and noticed it didn't say EF instead it said AF.
"A. . . F ?" I questioned and looked at Jeb, "Yeah, the singer, Alison Lauren-"
"Alison Lauren?" I asked, the name lingered in my head. Sounds so familiar.
"Alison Lauren Dilaurentis. We don't know why it's an F though. It might be something special for her."
It is her. God. Alison's a singer now? Why haven't I heard if her then? Am I that famous? Nah. She's probably more famous than me. Want to know how I know? Because she's beautiful. This is getting scary, at first I thought I was just attracted to her but when she left, I was heartbroken.
It's frightening. I have never been in love before. My fans do know I'm gay and they don't seem to mind, of course they wouldn't.
"First of all," Jeb started, snapping me out of my thoughts,
"Is your new song about love or lust? You said your song is about a word that starts with an L."
"Love," I paused, "I may look like I'm not capable of love, based on my music, but I am. I have loved someone before, although it didn't work out." I explained,
Jeb gave me an assuring nod, "You'll fall in love again,"
That's the problem, I wanted to add but I didn't. The whole interview were just questions about my new song, I'll Be Waiting For You. That song was a hit, because, of course, it was a rap song. Although, I don't think it became popular because of the lyrics, I mean they don't even know what the song's about that's why Jeb asked me.
I think it was because of the dubstep and stuff that Skrillex helped me make. He's an awesome dude. After the interview, I told Roger, my driver, to take me to my manager's house.

"So, Emily, will you help the popstar , Alison Lauren, do her publicity stunt?" My manager, Keaton, asked. I sat on the kitchen counter and crossed my legs. I thought for a while. Am I really going to help Alison do her publicity stunt? Wait-I don't even know what I'm supposed to do. :/
"What was I supposed to do again?" I asked, tugging a loose strand of hair behind my ear, "You're going to pretend to be her girlfriend," he paused, "If you don't want to, I could decline the offer and then they'll just have to pick someone else."
"No!" I responded, well too quickly, "I mean yes! I'll do it."
He looked up with a smirk on his face, "That's my girl."
