"I think it's cute"

"When you both go out there," Mary seriously said, tapping on Emily's shoulder as Emily turned around to listen to Mary, "Make sure you wrap your arm around her, mkay?"

Emily smiled and wrapped an arm around me, making me dip my head down and blush furiously. Emily tapped my shoulder and I looked up to her,

"Don't get nervous, Ali," She whispered huskily, "Just act normal like we're actually a couple and everything will be alright."

I just smiled shyly because the announcer started speaking,

"Tonight will be a special night... Because today something special would be revealed...."

I heard a guy scream from the crowd,

"Drum roll!"

Then after that, we did hear a drum roll. I stole a glance at Emily and she was smiling excitedly. I smiled at the sight and then the curtains opened...

"How long have you guys been together?"

I looked over to Emily who nervously chuckled but the audience and the interviewer probably didn't notice since her face still looked like she was expecting an answer,

"Umm.. 4 months to be exact,"

I nodded and we both looked at the interviewer again,

"And how did you guys meet?"

It was my turn to chuckle nervously. We never discussed this, we never got together and made up a scenario–

"Well, long story short–Alison and I actually went to high school together–"

"Which was 6 years ago," I informed the interviewer who just nodded and looked at Emily again,

"And, um, we saw each other at a bar and it clicked. We started chatting and–oh! When we were in highschool we were sort of a thing too–So, like, we decided to take back what we used to have,"

I wish, I thought and chuckled to myself.

The interviewer looked at me weirdly and I covered it up with a laugh,

"Oh, it's nothing. I just remember things from highschool that we did. . ." I trailed off, my head turing towards Emily.

I felt a shiver run down my spine when our eyes made contact and I quickly looked away. I saw a flash of our kiss. Emily and I's kiss back in highschool but I quickly shook all the thoughts off.

I cannot think about that kiss.

"Just remember in your heart, that I'll be waiting for you.."

I heard Emily's voice echoing in my mind and I felt my heart rate speeding up as I thought about what we did use to have.

"Okay, so, the fans are blowing up on Twitter and you guys are currently trending on twitter," The interviewer trailed off, her gaze flickering down to her phone, "With the hashtag, 'Emison'. What do you think of your new ship name?"

"I think it's cute," Emily commented. I giggled and looked at Emily.

Wink.

Then I recieved a blush from her.

Aww.

How cute.
