I wanna be down, With what you're going through. ~Brandy (Remix)
King Pov
I felt something wet on my face. I jumped off the couch to LaLa running to her bed laughing. I wanted to get mad, but I missed her short ass so much I let it slide this time. I went over to her bed.
"Lil bit move over," I said.
"Negro your green giant ass want me to move, I'm the one that's hurt not you."
"Babygirl be nice. I missed your ass and you gonna treat me like this."
"Hell to the fucking yeah. You had me up all night with your goddamn snoring."
"Not my fault now move or I'll do it."
"Fine bitch boy."
She moved over. Y'all just don't know how much I miss this girl. She was there since the beginning. Best friends since diaper days. Unfortunately, her mom and my mom are best friends. Both of our moms are T-R-F-I-L-I-N-G. They hoe around together, do drugs together, they do everything together. Not realizing they're hurting the children they birth.
"Best friend what are you thinking about over there."
"Nothing LaLa nothing"
"Mmmhhmm I know you was thinking about me. Everybody does."
"Congratulations you played yourself. Girl bye nobody think about your dusty rusty crusty ass."
"Your daddy wasn't saying that when he was all in my kitty kat😺meow my nigga."
"Man chill, I may not know my father but damn well he wouldn't f&@k you boo boo👏👏"
"Man whatever😒. Anyways I'm ready to get out of here, bestie. The food is trash."
"Nigguh you was sleep, out of it, dead to the world. How do you know what the food taste like."
"It's called a feeding tube dumb ass. I still need nutrition."
This girl is something else, but I love her.
"Bestie where is MarMar and my other bestie."
"I don't know girlie. I've texted and left multiple voicemails. I'm sure they will show up."
"Mmhhmm. Sure, but thanks best fran for sticking around. I love you."
"I love you too, but it's no big thing baby girl. That's what I'm here for, to support my bab...bestie."
Thankful before LaLa could say anything the nurse came in. Thank you Jesus. God looked out for a nigga. Snapping out of my thoughts, I started to tune in to what the nurse was saying.
"Ms. LaSalle I'm going to check your vitals and by then the doctor should be coming in to talk to you.
"That sounds good."
As the nurse was going through the routine of checking LaLa, my phone started to go off.
"Let me take this."
I walked out the room and stood outside the door, answering the door.
"Hello"
"..........."
"Wait, say that one more time."
"..........."
"Alright, thanks for the heads up."
"............"
"One"
I went back into the room hearing the doctor talking to LaLa."
"Well missy, you get to go home today. You checked out to be fine, but sadly you will be on bed rest the of the summer."
Thank God he said she can go home because there's a hit on her. She can't go back to the house, but she needs to get into safety quick. We only have 3 hours until I have to get her out of here.
