In a world where everyone is busy, having no time to spare, somewhere, a girl opened a book; a plethora of memories and memoirs. She smiled to herself, looking at the pictures attached inside it. She looked at a picture containing a group of youngsters. 'My mates, my people..,' she happily and proudly thought, as her hand followed the caption written below it. 'Marine Drive - Shana, Sid, Arnav, Ruhi, Nick, Aaru, Ayu, Tanay, Kavya.'
She flipped through the pages, drowning in an ocean of memories. Involuntarily, her hand stopped at a certain page, tracing the picture with utmost love, as if it was the last time she was seeing it.
The picture had captured a candid moment of a boy and girl, probably aged sixteen or seventeen, mid-laugh. She caressed the features of the boy, almost trying to memorize it. Her eyes welled up and she felt a strange sensation in her heart after reading the words inscribed below.
