The rain was slow.
Yet you always seemed to fall into a deep calm when the rain was slow.A steady fall of water from foreign places you'd only dreamed of going. You let out a warm breath onto the droplet stained window, fogging it up. Before it fades you raise your blue tipped, numb fingers to the window and draw a small sad face. The moved condensation forms little rivers from the eyes and you watch as the face cries against the taxi's glass.

But for now, you didn't want to think about that. You didn't want think at all.
You wanted sleep. Jet lag was finally dragging down you eyes, swiping at your knees and begging your mind to sleep. You fall onto the bare mattress, left behind from the previous owners and just sleep. From what you had already learnt about England, it was nothing like Australia. It was cold, and wet, and dark. The days seems longer, the nights seemed bitter. And your body clock was definitely out of whack.
