~Aeron's P.O.V

Micheal had been pacing around me, slapping the back of my head or my wounded shoulder, every now and then.

He had just done it and I fell forward to my stomach. I pushed my right shoulder down into the ground and pushed myself up to my knees.

"Do it again and I swear, when I get out of here, your blood will be all over the floor." I seethe.

He chuckled and kicked my shoulder, so that I fell backward onto my back. I started to get up, but he stomped on my hip, causing me to scream in pain. He kept his foot there, applying pressure.

"You'll never get out of here. Alive anyway."

I looked up at him and knew that I was going to make his death as painful as possible.

The door creaked open and in came Deardra. I heard screaming and knew she had Annabelle.

"Anna!" I holler, getting back to my knees, only to be kicked in the face.

The blood made itself known in my mouth and I worked my tongue, getting it all in one spot and spit it to the floor.

The blow wouldn't have hurt if my nose wasn't broken.

"Mommy!" She exclaimed, kicking at her back harder.

Deardra put her on her feet and dragged her over to me, pushing her forward. She fell to her knees and crawled over to me.

"Mom, you're bleeding." She observes, taking my top and pulled, helping me to my knees.

"I know, baby, but mommy's fine, alright." I say, shaking my head to stop the tickling of blood on my lip.

"Mommy, g-grandma's gone." She says.

I snapped my head up and looked at her, confusidly.

"What?" I ask.

"That meany," She says, pointing at Deardra. "Killed her. Her forehead was bleeding and there was a hole in it."

I glared at her.

"You killed my mother-in-law?!" I holler.

She chuckled.

"Oh, please. It's not like you loved her as a mother." She teases.

She was wrong. I did love Anne as a mother. She was the closest I had after my mom commited suicide with that bomb. Anna was a mother figure in my life for years and Deardra had to ruin it all.

My gaze fell to Anna and I thought of a plan. They're probably going to make her do things to help kill me, but I know for a fact that she won't. Anna can do whatever they say to get on their good side and then help me get to them quicker.

"Annabelle, listen to me, okay? No matter what happens here, today, mommy loves you," I say.

"I love you too."

"Good, now I want you to do everything these people tell you to do, alright. No matter what it is , do it. Even if they ask you to kill me."

Her gorgeous eyes began to water with sadness.

"But, mommy. I can't kill you." She replied.

"Anna, I know that, okay. But if they ask you to, you do it. No hesitating and no crying, please?" I ask, lowering my head to look at her.

"M-" I cut her off.

"Anna, don't argue with me and just do it if they ask!" I whisper shout.

She nodded.

"Thank you."

She wrapped her small arms around my neck and hugged me. I put my chin on her shoulder and leaned my head against hers.

"You gotta be strong for me, alright? Me and your daddy."

She nodded and kissed my cheek.

Deardra grabbed her by the back of her shirt and yanked her away from me.

"Sorry to ruin a family reunion, but sadly, I have to kill the rest of your friends. Who knows? Maybe this one," She says, shaking my daughter. "Will join the club of bodies that'll be shoved down a garbage shoot."

My eyes flickered to Anna. I nodded once and she did as well, walking with Deardra.

I couldn't wait until I got out of this rope.
