~Harry's P.O.V
I sat with Aeron on the far side of the room, trying to convince her that maybe we'd be okay, but I felt like I was actually trying to convince myself of it.
What if I failed at this one simple yet life threatening task?
Not only will I possibly die, but so will my friends and wife. My daughter could be anywhere in Wolverhampton right now, being chased by my wife's bestfriend's dad. There's no doubt that she's petrified and that she's trying her hardest to stay away from Micheal.
Trying to get a gun away from someone is difficult. I've done it once before and even though I was successful, the gun was back in the person's grip. Sure, she shot the gun and killed two people in the process, but that wasn't the point. The point is that I could get nine people killed in a matter of seconds.
It wasn't just the boys and I. We had Mark and Claire with us. They were placed in another room and locked inside, which is dangerous here. As we found out with Niall, the two of them being under the age of five, could waddle near a broken window and fall out or they could get ahold of glass and hurt themselves.
"You guys are pathetic and you can't win this round." Eleanor snaps, making me turn to face the rest of them.
She was standing near the desk, pointing the gun at the others.
I got up and walked over, standing beside Elizabeth, whispering to her,
"I'm going after the gun. Tell the others."
A look of disbelief made its way on to her face, but she did as told.
"Hey, what are you whispering for?" El asked me.
"I was just telling everyone that we should give up. That we don't have to die if we cooperate." I lie.
"C'mere." She says.
I put my hands up and started walking to her. Once I was in front of her, she turned me around and forced me to my knees.
"As much as you all listen to Harry, I feel like his message to surrender hasn't set in, so maybe you all need an example." She says as I hear her cock the gun near my head.
I closed my eyes and began to pray to god that my family and friends would make it out of here alive, but I know for a fact that they are. Because I'm going to get them out of here even if my life is on line.
I opened my eyes and looked at Aeron.
She looked extremely nervous and I mouthed to her that I loved her. She said it back and I put my head down.
Was I really going to do this?
Of course I was. My family and friends were depending on me and if I didn't then they'd die. And it would all be on my conscious. I would feel like shit before Eleanor killed me and there'd be nothing for me to do about it.
"Anything you want to say, Styles?" Eleanor asked just loud enough for me to hear.
I took a deep breath and opened my eyes.
"Yeah, thanks for the gun." I reply.
She chuckled and straightened back up.
"That's really cute, but you don't have a gun."
I smirked.
"I do now." I say, shooting up and around.
My fist came in contact with her jaw and she hollered and stepped back, dropping the gun. I caught it before it hit the floor and pointed it at her as she was about to run at me.
"My how the tables have turned." Liz says, approaching her.
"No matter who has the gun, you're all weak. Especially you." She replies.
Elizabeth chuckled and stepped behind her, putting her hands on her shoulders.
"It's a shame. I was really starting to think we'd get along. Maybe we could have actually been close friends, but I was wrong."
"I don't need your friendship, Alen. Not yours or any of these other losers. I'm just fine by myself."
Liz grabbed her head and Eleanor flinched.
"This game you've been playing has been going on for too long. I'm not a part of it anymore and neither are the rest of us. So in these last five seconds of your meaningless life, I want you to think of all of the people you've hurt and have gotten killed. One," Liz starts to count.
I caught Louis before he could run and try to save Eleanor from her death.
"No! Don't kill her, please?!" He pleads.
"Two," Liz continued.
I tightened my grip on his arms and held him as long as I could. As Liz skipped a few numbers, Louis screamed,
"No!"
"Five."
I heard El's neck snap and she fell to her side and I relaxed, letting go of Louis. He fell to his knees and began to cry into his hands.
I put the gun in my waistband.
"Good job, Harry!" Liam smiles.
"Yeah, you may have just saved us all!" Zayn adds.
I waved it off and said,
"All in a day's work."
They chuckled and I went back to Aeron, picking her up bridal style. She curled into my side and buried her face into my neck.
"I knew you could do it." She mumbles.
"Only because you had faith in me." I reply, kissing her temple.
I carried her back over to the group and Zayn began to help Louis stand up, but he sunk back down to her side.
I understand that losing someone so close to you is hard, but now that she's not hurting or killing anymore people, we can all sleep peacefully at night.
Well, not me because my daughter is still missing and Elizabeth's dad is chasing her down. We need to find her before he did or we'd have major issues.
"Let's get the kids and get out of this place." Louis mumbles, looking at El's limp body.
Niall patted his back.
"It's alright, mate. There's tons of fish in the sea." He says.
"Yeah, but she was the only one I'd fish for." Louis replies, running his fingers through her long brown hair.
"Well, if it makes you feel any better, you still have Mark to take car of." Zayn speaks up.
We all looked at him.
"Mark's your son." I say.
Zayn sighed and ruffled his hair.
"You've loved him like he's your own. I feel like I took away your chances at a son." He mumbles.
"You didn't ruin anything. I was determined to have a son it just wasn't meant to be, I guess."
Zayn smiled a bit and crossed his arms over his chest.
"Louis, I really wasn't supposed to tell you yet, but I'm signing over my parental rights to you."
My mouth fell agape, just as everyone else's.
Zayn was giving up his parental rights?
