*Aeron's P.O.V*
The interview ended about an hour ago and now Zayn, Harry, Liam, and I were at our house. How did it end up being the three of us? Well, it started after the interview.
Everything after the interview was awkward.
The lunch we took. Paul always makes us sit according to couple and since Harry and I haven't talked since the whole 'I don't trust you' thing, it was weird for me. Maybe not just me, but for everyone.
Conversation wasn't something I wanted to be apart of and everybody looked at us like we were on fire. Which I understand. For a couple that's been together for eight almost nine years, not talking is something nobody could grasp as reality.
You could only hear muffled whispers and forks colliding with the china we had been using. The bustling and business of the restaruant was part of the nosie too, but no one really cared about that. We weren't bumbarded by fans or paps. That was a plus.
When we finished lunch, we all put money in the middle to help and pay for the bill. We left and piled into the van. That was also awkward.
Everyone sat how we did on our way to the show. Once again, according to couple and child. Our usual loud, fun, and corky van ride was different. No one was speaking. Niall started to play his music from his phone and it loosened most of us up and the conversation started. Ranging from the artist singing, to the passing scenary, to what we were going to do when we got home.
I just wanted to curl up in a corner and distance myself from every problem at hand, including Joy and the 'Harry is untrustworthy' thing. Just anything that would cause an unlikely amount of stress. Like I said I didn't need it.
When we finally got to Harry and I's house, we all got out and went inside. The kids were taken upstairs by El and I, so they could nap for alittle while before dinner. I refused to cook, so Liz would help Niall with that. They had left a few minutes ago to get what they needed. They took Eleanor and Louis, so things weren't too awkward.
Now I was sitting in the living room with Zayn, Harry, and Liam. As nice as I wanted it to be, it wasn't. It was quiet and neither of us said a thing. We just sat there, soaking in an empty and annoyingly loud silence. I tried ignoring it, but it just attacked my ears like a rabbid skunk would a snake or bird.
It was a loud and mind numbing silence that was begging to be noticed. How would I manage to shut the damn silence up and get it out of my life? How will I get by without the agonizingly painful silence, gnawing away at my thoughts and every move? I couldn't. It was like it mocked me. Laughing, knowing that my life, and marriage was failing. Miserably.
I was on the couch, sitting on the far side near the door. The tension was so pronounced that staying here was getting impossible.
I got up and grabbed the keys from the hook, pulling the door open.
"Love, where are you off to?" Liam asked.
I turned, running a hand through my hair.
"To a cafe. I need some alone time. I'll be back in an hour." I reply.
I heard Harry sigh in exhaustion.
"Be safe. Call when you're on your way home," He stresses. "I love you."
A small smile appeared on my face and I felt butterflies explode in my stomach.
"I love you too."
Turning, I left and got in the car. The engine roared and I was about to pull off, but the grin on my face only grew, making me feel like something would actually change.
