~Aeron's P.O.V
It was October, now.
Although there were leaves on the ground, but no snow in sight, it felt more like winter than it did fall.
Annabelle wanted to go to the park, so I bundled her up in a pair of black skinny jeans, a grey sweater, black boots, and her favorite black coat. Her hair was tied up in a tight bun with a black scrunchie because she wanted a black one.
I tried to put a pink one on her to add some color, but she started to whine and that was something I didn't want to hear at all and I just put the black one in.
Since Gavin wasn't here yet and I was going to be cold anyway, I bundled up as well. My outfit was much like Anna's, but I had on an extra jacket. I'm already four to five feet taller than Anna, but the boots I had on gave me an extra five inches on her.
You're probably wondering why I'm dressed in heels, taking my kid out to the park. I still believe in complete comfort and shit, when you're pregnant. Such as wearing sweatpants, a sweater, and some house slippers, but I like to wear nice clothes no matter my situation.
I also don't want my kids to be embarressed if they're in fact out with their mom. And if the paps were to catch me looking horrid in only sweats and my hair tied back, it'd get to Harry and I never like looking bad when he's going to see.
That's why I usually jump out of bed and also why I'm always ready before he ever is.
I could see the entrance gate of the park and along with that, flashes hit my irises and caused my pupils to diolate. My hand almost instantly tightened around Anna's. The other would usuallly shoot up to sheild my eyes from the brightness, but instead, I dropped it to pull Annabelle's hood further over her face, so her eyes weren't damaged in any way.
"Aeron, how's the baby?!" One yelled.
I never answer their questions because Harry's told me many times that I shouldn't. It was okay every once in awhile, but I never did it anyway because the paps always find some way to twist your words and make it sound like you hate everything that's ever been invented in the world.
"Where's Harry?!"
"Is he with another girl?!"
I was getting highly upset, but I continued to ignore their idiotic questions and quickened my pace, Anna waddling beside me in a hurry to keep up with me.
These people have been following Anna, Harry, and I for years asking the same stupid questions that just get me worked up like they always do and then I always end up blowing up in their faces and I also somehow end up being the bad guy or girl.
People that aren't known like we are don't understand the amount of stress paps put on us. We have to make sure we walk out of the house, looking our best, which is never really even a problem for me. We have to make sure we handle any type of situation the right way, which is very hard for me considering that I do have a lot worse control over my hormones when I'm carrying. And we have to make sure we get where we need to be, on time, without being trampled by idiots.
"Mommy, who are these people?" Anna asks.
"They're just people, sweetie. Just keep walking."
"Why are they taking our pictures?" She continued.
"They've been taking pictures of you for quite a long time, now." I reply over the noise.
The paps only got louder and soon, more began to swarm us with questions and flashes.
I needed to get out of this crowd or I'll get extremely worked up and stressed out.
At the moment, I'm eight months pregnant and I could go into labor early because of all of the ruckus being caused and before Harry left for tour, I promised him that I would stay away from any and everything that was stressful. He'd go insane on the paps if they caused my labor to start early.
"Why don't they take pictures of daddy or Uncle Niall?"
"They do, sweetheart. Of Uncle Niall, Zayn, Louis, and even Uncle Liam. They take pictures of mommy and daddy all of the time."I say, pulling her closer to my hip as the crowd got bigger and my nerves got worse and worse.
Aside from being pregnant, I was clausterphobic. My heart was beginning to beat faster and my hands were starting to sweat as they were pushing and shoving us back and forth. Their voices boomed in my eardrums, screaming,
"What's Liam doing now that he's single?!"
"How's Zayn's life since he killed Perrie?!"
"You're going straight to hell for murdering those people!"
"Whoever they are, mommy. They're scaring me."
I cursed under my breath and crouched.
"Get on mommy's back, baby." I say as she climbed on and hooked her arms around my neck, loosely.
As crazy as this may sound, when I was a couple of years younger, Harry would let me on his back. I panicked at first, but he'd tell me to pretend he was on an airplane. Strangely enough, I was more comfortable on a plane than I was on the ground. He'd sound plain silly, but he would even make cute little airplane noises while he pushed through the thick crowd and personal questions.
We finally made it to the park, but the paps still haven't let up.
I couldn't let my daughter down with all of these papparrazi around us. They'd no doubt scream and shout even louder than before. And that would only scare Annabelle even more than she already is.
"Aeron, give us a smile!"
I passed the slide and swingset, walking toward the exit, on the other side of the park.
"But mommy. You said we could play." Anna whines, pointing over my shoulder and to the jungle gym.
"Baby, we can't. Maybe tomorro-" I was cut off and tripped over something, landing hands and knees first on the pavement.
Annabelle was letting high pitched cries leave her throat after she hit her knee hard on the ground. As I was able to roll over onto my butt and look up at the paps, coming faster and they started to crowd us, snapping picture after picture and yelling words after words.
I grabbed Anna's hands and pulled her into my chest, squeezing my eyes shut and held her head down.
This was one of those times where I needed Harry.
