(Grif X Jade) part 1

Jade was walking around red base. It was late at night and she was on night shift. Jade never notice how Grif would sneek out at night. Jade liked Grif because he was an easy going guy (believe it or not). He would sit up and stare at the stars atop of the overhang. He would always go there if he couldn't sleep. Well this night Jade noticed Grif. She quietly made her way up the path to the overhang. Grif saw her and patted a spot next to him. Jade settled herself onto the ledge. "So, see anything suspicious yet?" Grif asked. "No," Jade replied. They sat in silence. Grif and Jade had taken their helmets off and looked at the stars. Grif layed back, and Jade said she'll be back. She was cold. He stopped her and said, "Lay with me." She replied with, " Ok." Grif mumbled something, but Jade couldn't understand it. "What was that, I couldn't understand you," Jade stated. "I like you," he grunted. "I like you too," Jade smiled. They fell asleep after awhile.
